Ga op een onvergetelijke pinguïntour vanuit Punta Arenas en dompel jezelf onder in een spannend ochtendavontuur naar Magdalena en Marta-eilanden! Wandel langs duizenden Magelhaense pinguïns terwijl ze hun dag doorbrengen in hun ongerepte natuurlijke habitat. Geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op de kust terwijl je naar dit prachtige wildreservaat vaart. Onderweg deelt een deskundige gids fascinerende inzichten in pinguïngedrag en ecologie, en je hebt zelfs de kans om naar een historische vuurtoren te wandelen voor panoramische uitzichten. Als het weer meewerkt, bezoekt u ook Marta Island om zeeleeuwen en zeeolifanten in hun element te bewonderen. In tegenstelling tot andere boottochten vindt deze plaats op een kleine, snelle boot en is inclusief koffie die aan boord wordt geserveerd, entreegelden voor het natuurmonument 'Los Pingüinos' en handig vervoer van een centraal ontmoetingspunt in Punta Arenas naar de pier. Mis dit unieke wildlife avontuur niet!

Je ontmoet elkaar om 6:15 uur op de aangewezen plek bij Muelle Prat in het havengebied van Punta Arenas. De exacte locatie wordt vermeld in uw reserveringsbevestiging. Eenmaal aangekomen, check je in en zorgen wij ervoor dat je klaar bent voor een ongelooflijke ervaring. Het moment waar je op hebt gewacht is hier! Van daaruit stap je in een minibus die je naar de pier van Laredo brengt. De reis van Punta Arenas naar de pier duurt ongeveer 35 minuten.
Vanaf de aanlegsteiger van Laredo klim je aan boord van een speedboot en begin je je avontuur over de adembenemende Straat van Magellaan. De boot brengt je naar Magdalena Island, waar je aan land stapt en een uur hebt om te dwalen en de charmante Magelhaense pinguïns te ontdekken die er leven. U zult absoluut dol zijn op deze prachtige kleine wezens! De speedboottocht van Laredo Bay naar Magdalena Island duurt ongeveer 45 minuten.
Na een uur met de pinguïns te hebben doorgebracht, stap je weer aan boord van de boot en ga je op weg naar Marta Island. De rit duurt ongeveer 20 minuten. Onderweg heb je de mogelijkheid om ongelooflijke inheemse wilde dieren te observeren. Je ziet kolonies van zeeleeuwen, zwermen aalscholvers, Antarctische duiven en vele andere fascinerende soorten die deze geweldige regio bewonen. Zodra u Marta Island bereikt, zal de boot er ongeveer 30 minuten omheen cirkelen, zodat u voldoende tijd heeft om te genieten van de bezienswaardigheden.
Tenslotte ga je terug naar het vasteland, met de keuze om afgezet te worden bij het startpunt of bij Plaza de Armas in Punta Arenas – het is helemaal aan jou! De boottocht van Marta Island naar Laredo pier duurt ongeveer 45 minuten. Eenmaal aangekomen staat er een minibus klaar om u terug te brengen naar Punta Arenas, dat op ongeveer 35 minuten rijden ligt. Rond het middaguur ben je terug in de stad, met ongelooflijke herinneringen en geweldige verhalen om te delen. The trip was well organized. Guide was kind and tell us a lot about birds and seals during the way to Magdalena and Marta Islands.

We had gone on the whales and glacier watching trip the previous day. If you only want to pay for one, go with whales watching. You will see penguins on that trip but only from the boat. I was glad I did both trips. Seeing the penguins up close is very special. Be sure to bring antinausea medication as the boat can get quite bumpy.

Everything well organized and a great experience. We were lucky with the weather and could still see dolphins. The tour guides were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the trip was cancelled at short notice, we were only informed about it at the office at 6:00 in the morning when it was supposed to start. The excursion is very dependent on the weather. I recommend more to Tabsa, there the boats are bigger and much cheaper. There is also a greater chance that the boats will leave when the wind blows.

Great experience. Location is central , started on time. Staff at the office was courteous.and bus ride was great. Our host at the boat, Sebastian, was a great person and tried to make experience good for everyone. Spoke English fluently. We were given hot chocolate/coffee after the tour (it was windy and chilly). Overall great experience.

If you love penguins this is a must. Penguins, sealions, seals and if you are lucky some dolphins. So much fun and lovely walk around the island

It seemed a little disorganized, but ultimately we did almost exactly what was written in the description to the letter. I felt that the size of the group was unwieldy and detracted from the experience - breaking into smaller groups would've been useful - and we'd benefit from more interpretation on the island itself.
