Verken de straten van de Spaanse hoofdstad in 2,5 uur met een lokale gids. Leer meer over de geschiedenis en keuken van Madrid terwijl u traditionele tapas proeft op populaire locaties. Probeer knoflookgarnalen, chorizo, kroketten, brava's, paddenstoelen en meer. Bezoek bezienswaardigheden zoals Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel en Plaza de la Villa.

Onze gastronomische tour begint om 12:30 uur bij de Apple Store (Puerta del Sol). Ik heet u welkom in Madrid en zal u een beetje uitleggen wat we gaan doen tijdens de tour.
Nadat we u hebben verwelkomd op Puerta del Sol, gaan we naar de wijk Autrias, hier stoppen we (afhankelijk van de dag) bij onze eerste gastronomische stops. U zult dezelfde locaties ervaren waar de lokale bevolking naartoe gaat, op zoek naar traditionele tapas zoals knoflookgarnalen, brava's, kroketten, chorizo, enz., Volgens de tapasbars die u op de dag zult bezoeken.
Na het genieten van tapas als authentieke locals keren we weer terug naar Puerta del Sol. Hier ga ik dit prachtige plein beschrijven, ik zal je zijn geschiedenis vertellen en enkele symbolen die erin staan.
Tijdens onze gastronomische tour bezoeken we iconische plekken in de stad, zoals Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor, hier geef ik je een korte samenvatting van de geschiedenis van het Plaza, het belangrijkste Plaza in Madrid.
Na een bezoek aan het Plaza Mayor, rijden we het middeleeuwse Madrid binnen. In dit gebied stoppen we bij een klassieke tapasbar in Madrid. In deze bar proberen we, afhankelijk van de dag, paddenstoelen of een heerlijke inktvis sandwich. Ook komen we langs het oudste restaurant ter wereld. Hier vertel ik u een korte geschiedenis van het restaurant.
En om te eindigen bezoeken we een van de mooiste pleinen van Madrid. Plaza de la Villa, hier geef ik u een korte samenvatting van de geschiedenis van het plein en de gebouwen daar.

It has been a very interesting experience. I have gone with my mother to three tapas bars in the historic center of Madrid, we have tried garlic prawns, bravas, mushrooms etc. Apart from this, the guide has told us about the history of Madrid and Spain. A very complete tour

We had a great introduction to Madrid and tapas with Carmen. We learnt so much and happily chatted with her for the whole tour. Carmen was outstanding. Very engaging and full of information of the city of Madrid and Spain in general. She pointed out the specialties of local food stops (this one is great for garlic prawns, this one for stuffed mushrooms and on and on). She took us at a comfortable pace and we never felt rushed. We had three stops and tried lots of food and had plenty to drink. We were all very full by the time the tour was over. At the end she took us to a convent to tell us about the nuns and the pastries they make so we could go back when the convent opened. We all had a wonderful time and it was a highlight of our stay in Madrid. Thank you Carmen.

Prompt start with Carmen and short walk to first bar - excellent prawns and wine , on to another nearby tapas bar for more tapas and then a walk through the city to our last stop . All good food , sites and information along the way and a good explanation of Spanish history and food . Carmen was knowledgeable and friendly . Great tour

I booked 3 adults for the Tapas and my 8 years old daughter was with me. The tour guide insisted charging me extra 70 euro for my daughter. She just tag along and did not eat or drink.
Hi Kin, I'll answer you again what I told you yesterday: You booked and paid for 3 people and 3 people and an 8-year-old girl showed up without prior notice. The tour is for people over 18 years old (we say this clearly in the description of the activity). Therefore, we always treat everyone as adults, so if you bring your 8-year-old daughter in addition to the 3 of you, your daughter will be charged as one more adult. I don't know where you read that children don't pay anything. The guide did everything possible to solve the problem with great professionalism and respect, at no time were you ignored as you say. Carmen, she's a real professional at her job. It reflects enthusiasm, joy, passion and motivation in what it does, so it conveys it. I have loved the selection of restaurants and at the same time as it tells the history of Madrid and Spain. It has been a real pleasure and I hit the Tapas Tour with it.
