Het Koninklijk Paleis van Madrid is niet zomaar een residentie; het is een plek doordrenkt van grandeur en geschiedenis. Hoewel de huidige koningen elders verblijven, blijft dit majestueuze paleis het decor voor belangrijke staatsceremonies en plechtige gelegenheden, waardoor het tot leven komt met zijn betekenis. My daughter and I really enjoyed the Royal Palace guided tour. It was really convenient to be part of a group with skip the line tickets. The tour with the group was about an hour long and then we had time to explore on our own. It's definitely a must see while in Madrid and this tour made it really convenient for us. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humour.

Viator confirmed our tour for 11:30am and charged us. When we arrived at meeting point there was no tour for that day. We called and they told us it was a mistake by Viator and we had to reschedule to 4:45pm. They reimbursed but ruined our morning. Make sure you confirm with operator. 👎🏽
I think our guide’s name was Andrea. She was very knowledgeable about the deep history and interesting details of the Spanish monarchy and the palace. She was very easy to understand. And the headphones they give you at the start all worked great. Highly recommend.
