Verken de beroemde wijk Chueca, het kloppende hart van de LGBTQ+ gemeenschap, tijdens deze 3 uur durende food tour. Deze tour is zwaar op het eten en drinken met een vleugje queer geschiedenis. Chueca, gelegen in het centrum van Madrid, is een levendige en diverse wijk die bekend staat om zijn levendige sfeer, LGBTQ + gemeenschap, trendy bars, cafés en boetieks. De smalle straatjes zijn versierd met kleurrijke gevels en er worden culturele evenementen georganiseerd, waaronder de jaarlijkse Pride-vieringen, waardoor het een centrum van inclusiviteit en opwinding is. Bezoek 4 tapasbars en restaurants (waaronder een markt) met 7+ tapas en 4 drankjes inbegrepen. Naast het leren over Spaans eten en wijn, behandelen we ook een deel van de LGBT+ geschiedenis van de buurt. We geven je ook tips over extra restaurants, bars en clubs om te bezoeken, zodat je het meeste uit je reis kunt halen. Deze tour staat open voor alle gasten, of het nu heterobondgenoten zijn of leden van de LGBTQ+ gemeenschap. Als u vragen heeft, aarzel dan niet om te vragen.

Begin de tour door je lokale homogids te ontmoeten op Plaza Chueca, waar je iets over de geschiedenis van de buurt leert. Vervolgens loop je een klein stukje naar de eerste tapasbar voor een drankje en een hapje.
Geniet van een drankje en een smakelijke tapa of twee in deze eerste lokale bar. Uw gids legt elk item uit terwijl u ervan geniet.
Geniet van een drankje en een tapa in deze tweede, kleinere lokale bar aan Calle Pelayo, een straat met verschillende bars, restaurants en winkels. De straat staat ook bekend om de beruchte High Heel Race tijdens de jaarlijkse Gay Pride in Madrid.
Laat de restaurants en bars achter u terwijl u voor deze vierde stop een buurtmarkt betreedt. Hier kunnen de lokale bewoners terecht voor de dagelijkse boodschappen, maar ook voor gastronomische artikelen, of gewoon om te eten en drinken bij de verschillende eetkraampjes.
Bestel een laatste rondje tapa gerechten en nog een drankje bij deze eindhalte. Het restaurant serveert Galicische gerechten uit de noordwestelijke regio van Spanje, bekend om zijn ongelooflijke zeevruchten en witte wijn.

Friendly, knowledgeable guide, great combo of drinks, bites, and neighborhood and national history.
Our guide Enrique was outstanding. Just incredible. Made our small group feel welcome and in a few hours some great connections and understanding of this part of Madrid. Truly an exceptional guide. I would highly recommend.
We had a blast of a time with our tourguide Jovan! Lovely guide, high energy and with lots of knowledge and little facts about Madrid (and especially the queer side of this city)! You get to experience the places you wouldn't see otherwise and the food/tapas is superb. Would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in this side of this beautiful city!

My partner and I were really excited to experience this tapas tour, and it was absolutely worth it! Enrique was a fantastic guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Madrid’s food, history, and culture. We loved the opportunity to visit local restaurants and hidden gems, sampling delicious dishes and drinks that were unique to the area. The historical insights Enrique shared added so much value. It was fascinating to learn about the history of Chueca and what makes this neighborhood so special. This tour was truly a highlight of our trip!
We booked the tapas tour for the final evening of our Spanish vacation, and it was a wonderful way to wrap up our trip. Enrique was a friendly, professional guide, and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves. I have some dietary restrictions and specific preferences, and Enrique adapted the evening to give us both a delicious experience. He took us to several locations of LGBTQ+ interest, answered our many questions, and provided an entertaining and fascinating walk around Chueca. I highly recommend this tour; in retrospect, I would have done it at the beginning of our stay, because Enrique pointed out several spots that we're going to have to check out on our next visit to Madrid.

This was our first trip with Two Bad Tourists. We really enjoyed it! I usually do all the travel planning for all our trips. It was sooo nice to let someone else take care of the planning! We just showed up and enjoyed ourselves! We had a great group of people. A mix of young and old, single and couples. It was nice. Some people decided to go out partying in the clubs. Some of us (old married folks) just headed back to the hotel after dinner and had drinks in the lobby together. Everyone was free to do what ever they wanted. No pressure - just laid back and easy.
