Het heiligdom werd oorspronkelijk gebouwd op 15 kilometer ten zuidoosten van Aswan, in Opper-Egypte, vlakbij de eerste cataract van de Nijl en het grote religieuze centrum in Philae gewijd aan de godin Isis. In het begin van de 2e eeuw voor Christus begon Adikhalamani (Tabriqo), de Kushite-koning van Meroë, met de bouw van een kleine kapel in een kamer, gewijd aan de god Amon.
Parque del Oeste (in het Engels: Western Park) is een park van de stad Madrid (Spanje) gelegen tussen de Autovía A-6, de Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid en het district Moncloa. Vóór de 20e eeuw was het land dat het park momenteel bezet de belangrijkste vuilstortplaats van de stad. Het park is het initiatief van Alberto Aguilera, de burgemeester van de stad aan het begin van de 20e eeuw, die in 1906 vroeg om de inrichting van een plek om te wandelen en te ontspannen door landschapskunstenaar Celedonio Rodrígáñez. Het heeft unieke en prachtige sites zoals "The Rose", die elk jaar een internationale tedere rozen krijgt.
Het Koninklijk Paleis van Madrid (Spaans: Palacio Real de Madrid) is de officiële residentie van de Spaanse koninklijke familie in de stad Madrid, hoewel nu alleen gebruikt voor staatsplechtigheden. Het paleis heeft een vloeroppervlak van 135.000 vierkante meter (3.450.000 m²) en telt 3.418 kamers. Het is het grootste functionerende koninklijke paleis en het grootste op de vloer in Europa
De Plaza de Cibeles is een plein met een neo-klassiek complex van marmeren sculpturen met fonteinen dat een iconisch symbool is geworden voor de stad Madrid. Het ligt op de kruising van de Calle de Alcalá, de Paseo de Recoletos en de Paseo del Prado. Plaza de Cibeles heette oorspronkelijk Plaza de Madrid, maar in 1900 noemde de gemeenteraad het Plaza de Castelar, dat uiteindelijk werd vervangen door de huidige naam.
De Puerta de Alcalá ("Alcalá-poort", van het Arabische woord القلعة al-qal'a, "citadel") is een neo-klassiek monument op de Plaza de la Independencia in Madrid, Spanje. Het wordt beschouwd als de eerste moderne post-Romeinse triomfboog in Europa, ouder dan de gelijkaardige monumenten Arc de Triomphe in Parijs en de Brandenburger Tor in Berlijn
Het Buen Retiro Park (Spaans: Parque del Buen Retiro, letterlijk "Park van de aangename retraite"), Retiro-park of gewoon El Retiro is een van de grootste parken van de stad Madrid, Spanje. Het park behoorde tot de late 19e eeuw tot de Spaanse monarchie, toen het een openbaar park werd.

Very informative guide that made the tour very enjoyable even though it began to rain a bit. Would definitely recommend this tour and our guide Jacob.
Too many people on this tour and a few with little or no experience riding a bicycle in a busy city. Three separate experiences where bikers fell from their bicycles and two left the group and returned their bicycles to the shop. The tour guide was excellent.
This was a great way to begin exploring Madrid! Very informative and Chris, our guide was really helpful and made sure we all had a comfortable bike before setting off.

A fantastic bike tour, that in 3h time, presents Madrid in a nutshell. Having Paloma as a guide was the cherry on top of the cake: she has a broad knowledge of history, has a good sens of humor, speaks very good English and knows all the featuring aspects of Madrid. Highly recommend. Time and money well invested.
Fun and Informative! Guide was very knowledgeable and energetic. A bike ride perspective of the old city is highly recommended. I would take this tour again.
Plaza Mayor was great. The guide was really good. Unfortunately, Madrid is not a very bike friendly city and the bikes were puny.
We participated in the english speaking tour May 23, 2022. There were 6 riders excluding our guide Paloma and her trainee. Let me start by saying that Paloma was probably the only bright spot on the tour - she is funny and very informative and I would rate her 5 star! As far as the Madrid Fun and Sightseeing Bike Tour, probably be a little more honest to just change the name to Madrid Sightseeing tour, wasn't that much fun had. First: if you register through Tripadvisor the $33.14 cost advertised only covers for a regular bike - we found out after we arrived - the E-bike will cost you another 10 Euros each for a total = $43.54 USD each. Secondly: the nice new green Pedego E-bike all seemed to be reserved for the Spanish speaking tour. We received the older black Oxylane's that all seemed to need some kind of maintenance. My wife's rear brake was nearly non-existent causing her to slip and crash on the sand path in the Parc Retiro. The Wonder Bike Tour manager working that day showed no empathy about my wife's condition after the accident, or wether the bikes were maintained properly. Thirdly: We didn't visit at least two of the sites listed on the probable itinerary - neither Parque del Oeste or Templo de Debod, which was disappointing. There are better options for english speaking visitors to tour Madrid - I would pass this one up until they have properly maintained the current stock of E-bikes they use.
Really good comprehensive tour of key attractions. Gave us a good idea of places we wanted to visit in depth later in the holiday. Guide was Luis, and he was great, excellent at thinking on his feet as we had a thunder storm!
