We halen je om 04:00 uur op om je 1 uur en 30 minuten naar Ollantaytambo te rijden, waar je aan boord gaat van de trein naar Aguas Calientes. Zodra je in Aguas Calientes aankomt, haalt je gids je op bij het treinstation en brengt je naar Machu Picchu, waar je een geweldige ervaring zult hebben met het verkennen van de stad van de Inca's. Je gids maakt geweldige foto's van jou en je geliefden en deelt zeer interessante informatie over de geschiedenis, archeologie en geografie van Machu Picchu. Hij zal je ook op een dynamische manier leiden via de meest spectaculaire tempels van Machu Picchu, zoals de tempel van de drie ramen, de tempel van de condor, het heilige plein, de heilige rots en het astronomisch observatorium. Zodra u Machu Picchu heeft bezocht, neemt u de bus naar Aguas Calientes, waar u in een restaurant luncht. Vervolgens neemt u de trein terug naar station Ollantaytambo en een busje terug naar Cusco, waar u rond 19.00 uur aankomt.

My tour to Machu Picchu was a truly unforgettable experience! The guide, Erick, was very knowledgeable about ancient Inca history and I could clearly see he was excited to share his passion for it with our group. He also told a lot of jones, using his sense of humour to entertain the group and ensure we had a memorable day. This company is trustworthy, reliable, and also local’y owned, and I’d highly recommend taking a tour with Erick :)
Eric was a great guide who helped put the ancient site into context with explanations of Andean philosophy and spirituality.

Tour was amazing!! Especially Erick, our guide. I booked everything last minute, literally the day before flying to Peru, and Erick messaged me saying tickets would be sold out. He then stated that they sold tickets in person as well, and he would wait for our train to arrive and immediately bring us to the ticket office. We arrived at 9pm and met Erick at the station, who explained the ticket process on the way. With his help, we were able to secure tickets for the next morning! While at the site, Erick was incredibly knowledgeable about the Inca, Machu Picchu, and Andean culture. He guided us through the circuit, stopping to explain at certain sites or take pictures when requested. Overall the experience was more seamless than I thought possible given my last minute booking. Kudos to Erick on a bucket-list level tour.
