Dit is een luxe dagtour met privégids en chauffeur door The Hidden Ring of Kerry en Skellig Ring, waarbij u enkele van de mooiste vergezichten op de Wild Atlantic Way in Ierland verkent. We vertrekken om 9.30 uur vanuit je accommodatie in Killarney en beginnen aan deze prachtige dag. Met voorafgaande informatie over uw fotografie-interesses, zoals dieren in het wild, landschappen of historische locaties, gaan we naar het minder bereisde deel van de Ring of Kerry, de Skellig Ring. Langs de kust van het schiereiland Iveragh gaan we vervolgens richting Waterville, het zomerhuis van Charlie Chaplin en zien we ook het huis van Daniel O'Connell in de buurt van Cahersiveen. Aangezien het weer altijd een mogelijk probleem kan zijn bij het plannen van je Ierse avontuur, zullen we ons uiterste best doen om ervoor te zorgen dat je fotografiereis alles is wat je hoopte op regen of zonneschijn! We had the best day on the Ring of Kerry with Gerard. He’s personable and fun, knows everything there is to know about the area and had all kinds of good advice for us including where to get the best Irish Coffee at 10:30am.😁 He gave us lots of time to wander on our own, recommended a great lunch stop at the Waterville golf course and somehow even managed to arrange beautiful fall weather for us! Very highly recommended.

Oh boy!! First trip to Ireland, and we were fortunate to choose Gerard Scott as our 1-day guide for Ring of Kerry. What a professional and engaging person he is! I do not think we would have learned nearly as much as we did about the history and culture of this part of Ireland without learning from Mr. Scott. Made for a great day, and plenty of food for thought in the days after.

Back in the USA fondly recalling our recent trip, I must let you know that our tour with Lorraine remains a highlight. She was fabulous! In addition to being the greatest guide, she engaged on any topic that came up, Ireland related or not. We all said over and over how lucky we were to have such a talented person to show us the ropes.

This was a fantastic tour around the Ring of Kerry and Skellig peninsula. It was obvious that our guide Gerard not only loved his native Killarney region and was extremely knowledgeable but was also a delight to ride with. He quickly communicated with us in the States as we planned our trip and promptly collected us from our hotel at the prerearranged time. It was leisurely but covered the beautiful region completely and gave us an historical and cultural experience at a pace that adapted to our needs and interests. He knew many of the folks in the towns and villages that we stopped at. It was a great experience and affordable compared to similar tours. Don't miss the opportunity to have this experience.

This is absolutely the BEST way to see Ireland, and I cannot recommend Gerard enough! (I do not recommend driving on these narrow, windy roads). We had three generations of family members traveling and gave him what seemed like an impossible task: We wanted to see the best of the Ring of Kerry without spending all day in the car AND we wanted to split up. Three of us wanted to hike and the older three (in their 70s and 80s) wanted to see some of the historical sights. Gerard recommended the hike to Devil’s Punchbowl and Mangerton Mountain which took about three hours and was absolutely stunning. The others toured Muckross House and a church and really enjoyed both. We went to Kenmare for lunch (enjoying the beautiful views along the Ring of Kerry as we drove) and on our way back, Gerard proposed a stop to watch sheep dog herding. We loved this experience and were blown away by the skills, enthusiasm, and obedience of this young collie! This was one of our best days in Ireland, and Gerard’s vehicle was spacious and comfortable. Even better, Gerard entertained us with his stories, music, and history of the region. We hope to return and have him take us to the Dingle Peninsula next time!

She glad that we booked this private tour! Our guide Bertie was the best! Not only was he kind be he was extremely knowledgeable about every stop we made around the Ring of Kerry. He took us to the most amazing spots to get photographs. We had requested a stop to see sheep herding and a stop at Skelligs Chocolates and Bertie was sure to get us to both. Great experience watching the sheepdogs in action and the chocolates were great. Bertie was very informative and most importantly he is a safe driver. I would highly recommend him and the trip around the Ring of Kerry.
