Egypt Gift Tours Egyptologie-gids haalt u om 8 uur op bij uw hotel of Nijlcruise om uw opmerkelijke dag in de Thebaanse Necropolis te beginnen; de westelijke oever van Luxor. Rijd ongeveer 40 minuten naar de westelijke oever in een privéauto met airconditioning, geniet van het landschap en het uitzicht op de groene boerderijen en het platteland van Luxor
Kom aan in de Vallei der Koningen, waar de farao's uit het Nieuwe Koninkrijk hun graven in de bergen hebben uitgehouwen met het doel hun schat te verbergen en hun mummies te beschermen. Uw gids zal u van buiten uitleggen over de geheimen van de schilderijen, kleuren en hoe de oude Egyptische arbeiders slaagden erin om zulke indrukwekkende graven te snijden, als geen gids in de graven. Bezoek vervolgens de beste 3 geselecteerde graven uit de open graven.
Ga verder met een bezoek aan de unieke dodentempel van de beroemde koningin Hatsjepsoet in El Deir El Bahari, die werd vernieuwd en herbouwd door de Poolse missie in Egypte sinds 1960 tot op de dag van vandaag. Luister naar het interessante verhaal van de koningin uit je Egyptologiegids en weet hoe ze erin slaagde om als enige farao te regeren.
Stop voor een aantal mooie foto's voor de twee beelden van 17 meter van Memnon, die ooit de ingang van de grootste begrafenistempel van koning Amonhotep III uit het Nieuwe Koninkrijk op de Westelijke Jordaan decoreren. Later wordt u overgebracht naar uw hotel in Luxor.

Jam packed day filled with amazing ancient Egyptian culture. First we left for the Valley of the kings, then moved on to the local artefact workshop, jumped back in the car to the temple of Hatshepsut with finishing off at the two statues of Memnon. The sights were incredible but what made it exceptional was our guide Hatem. He was really knowledgable and had great way of telling the stories of these ancient sights. For every single question we asked he had an answer, and was very clear in his communication throughout the entire tour.
The guide - Hatim was knowledgeable and great. He personalized the whole experience for us & made it a great experience. Heba, from Egypt Gift tours was committed to us having a good time & her customer support & service was excellent
We can only recommend this tour! Our guide Hany in particular has made this tour a special and exciting experience. We learned a lot about the history, learned to understand the tombs and the temples, got to hear many exciting legends, but also learned a lot about Egypt and the way of life. In addition, we always got a lot of freedom from Hany to look around ourselves. It was also great that he always responded flexibly to the wishes of us. The Valley of the Kings is incredibly interesting !!! Our guide hani told us the stories about the different tombs very vividly and gave us more than enough time to explore the tombs and temples! He is also a very good photographer! I recommend this tour to everyone especially with Hany! It's like being out with a friend of years! Highly recommended, ask for Hany!

I went on this trip with driver Islam and guide Hator, and they were both very professional. This trip was perfect, because due to the heat a long tour would be too exhausting, and this half-day experience let me see the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon without getting too much tired. You must be aware of the fact that there is a compulsory stop at a local community shop where you will probably be talked into buying something by a very skillful guy, but to be honest I'm happy with the alabaster figurines I bought there, even though I probably overpaid (there will be bargaining down from an insane initial price). But I believe the quality is good, so this might be a good place for your souvenir shopping. All in all, I can recommend this trip, it's well-paced, not overwhelming, gives you a good and solid taste of the West Bank of Luxor 😊
I enjoyed the relaxed pace of the tour. I wasn't rushed and yet we finished it reasonably quickly. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind.

*Precovid* Me and my friend went on this tour with our guide Mona. Everything from transportation to agenda was well organized. We went at a time when it wasn't too busy, which we were both thankful for so it allowed us to explore and take pictures without feeling like we were all too crowded. Mona was the best guide we could have ever asked for! She was super personable, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. She was transparent and made sure before and during our tour that we knew what to expect. She was able to teach us about the history of each site and present it in a way that was engaging (I still remember some what she talked about!). We never felt rushed or that we didn't have enough time to explore on our own. The tour ran smoothly and it was so unreal to take in the history of such sacred sites!
