Uw reis door de rijke geschiedenis van Luxor begint wanneer onze gids u ophaalt bij uw hotel in Luxor. We beginnen aan een Luxor-dagtour om de Thebaanse necropolis op de westelijke oever van de Nijl te verkennen. Hier ontdek je de mysteries van de Vallei der Koningen, de laatste rustplaats van de farao's uit het Nieuwe Rijk (1550 – 1080 v.Chr.). Deze begraafplaats, uitgehouwen in de berghelling, bevat 64 graven, waarvan de oudste toebehoorde aan de vader van koningin Hatsjepsoet, Thoetmosis I (1506–1493 v.Chr.). Als je wilt, kun je tijdens deze 2 uur durende verkenning ook het graf van koning Toetanchamon bezoeken tegen een extra vergoeding.
Vervolgens reizen we naar de prachtige tempel van Hatsjepsoet. Deze tempel is een wonder, gebouwd over drie terrassen en naadloos opgaand in de imposante kliffen van het Thebaanse gebergte. Oorspronkelijk leidde een laan met sfinxen naar de Nijl, met mirrebomen die de ingang van de tempel sierden. Koningin Hatsjepsoet, de enige vrouw die als farao over Egypte regeerde, wordt in mannelijke vorm afgebeeld, met de kilt en baard van een farao aan. Bovendien kom je op de Westelijke Jordaanoever de twee Kolossen van Memnon tegen, die twintig meter hoog zijn en die dienen als de enige overblijfselen van de graftempel van Amenophis III.

We waited in the morning, but the driver didn't arrive. When we contacted the company, they didn't respond until several hours later. When we asked them to send the car again and offered to pay them more money, they refused.
Our driver was at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time and waited for more than one hour. During that time, we made several attempts to contact you, but unfortunately received no response. Additionally, there was no reservation registered under your name at the hotel, which made it impossible for our team to locate you. You eventually contacted us around 1:00 PM and requested that we send the vehicle again from another location. In our conversation, you acknowledged that the situation resulted from your own mistake, and this is clearly documented in our message history. We will provide these records as evidence when requesting a review of this unfair and misleading feedback. We take great pride in delivering professional and reliable service to all our guests. In this case, we fulfilled our obligations and were present at the agreed time and location. Therefore, we do not accept responsibility for the missed service, as no fault occurred on our side.

Ahmed was a wonderful tour guide. This tour was the highlight of our whole holiday. He was prompt, knowledgeable, kind, warm and has beautiful energy. Mansour was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions. He was also helpful at getting us water and snacks when it was very hot and tiring. The sites are amazing to see, definitely worth it.

My partner and I enjoyed our tour with Nasser. The half day tour was a perfect amount of time as it was enough time to see everything but not so long and tiring. Nasser shared with us many stories and facts which we hadn't yet heard from other tour guides which was great. Each of the sights we visited were very busy but he was able to guide us through the tour making sure we saw everything with enough time to take it all in. I would recommend a tour with Nasser.

It was a very nice tour, very compact in half a day. Starting with the Colossus of Memnon and continuing from the Temple of Hatshepsut to the Valley of the Kings, the last tomb of Tutankhamun was a sight to behold. Our guide Mansuor Hamed was really fabulous. His knowledge of the history & culture of the sites visited was outstanding. Mansuor also had a great sense of humour and therefore, was very good company. I would also add that the driver Hassan was excellent - the car was very comfortable, modern, clean & safe.
