Uw dag begint wanneer uw professionele Egyptoloog Gids u ontmoet in de lobby van uw hotel of cruiseschip. Aankomst in de Vallei der Koningen, de belangrijkste begraafplaats van het oude Egypte Nieuwe Koninkrijk.Er zijn 63 tombes in de vallei, voordat je de tombes betreedt, geeft je Gids een diepgaande uitleg over de grafbouw, magische spreuken uit het Boek der Doden en hoe priesters de muren versierden met levendige scènes om de farao naar het hiernamaals te Gids. Vervolgens verken je drie zorgvuldig uitgekozen koninklijke graven, gekozen vanwege hun schoonheid, kleuren en historische waarde. Als je in elke kamer afdaalt, zie je de originele pigmenten, gesneden inscripties en lange gangen die naar de grafkamer leiden.
Tombe van Koning Toetanchamon (Tut) De wereldberoemde omdat het het enige koninklijke graf uit de Vallei der Koningen is dat relatief intact is ontdekt. De ontdekking ervan in 1922 door Howard Carter haalde wereldwijd de krantenkoppen, en bleef dat doen toen de gouden artefacten en andere luxueuze voorwerpen die in deze tombe werden ontdekt naar buiten werden gebracht. Het graf en zijn schatten zijn iconisch voor Egypte, en de ontdekking van het graf wordt nog steeds beschouwd als een van de belangrijkste archeologische ontdekkingen tot op heden.
Na een bezoek aan de graven wordt u vervoerd naar de tempel van koningin Hatsjepsoet (Deir el Bahari), de enige vrouw die ooit als farao over Egypte heeft geregeerd. Laatste stop bij de Kolossen van Memnon, twee kolossale beelden van meer dan 18 meter hoog. Uw laatste bezoek is de elegante Tempel van Luxor, verbonden met Karnak door de oude Avenue van Sfinxen. Deze tempel was niet gewijd aan goden alleen, maar aan de kroning en viering van koningen. Today's driver, Ahmed, drove very politely. While many drivers are driving too fast and rough, this alone is highly rated, but they were happy to respond to sudden content changes and arrangements and were very correct in choosing it. I'd like to use it again.

My family of 7 which included 2 of my grand kids age 1 & 3 Yrs , nothing was a issue for Abdo , he was polite and assisted us with ease and a smile and accommodated all our needs including a stop over for our Friday Juma prayers .
