Terwijl u in Luxor bent, kunt u een privé-rondleiding door de hele wereld maken op de Westelijke Jordaanoever. Hier heb je de gelegenheid om de verbazingwekkende Vallei der Koningen, de Majestueuze Koningin Hatchepsut-tempel en de Kolossen van Memnon te bezoeken. Daarna reis je naar Medinet Habu en de prachtige Vallei der Koninginnen.

Onze Reflections Tour Guide haalt je op van je hotel / Nijlcruise door A / C Vehicle in Luxor om de Westelijke Jordaanoever te verkennen. Begin met een bezoek aan de beroemde Vallei der Koningen. Er zijn 63 graven in de vallei. De koninklijke tombes zijn versierd met de Egyptische mythologie die aanleiding geeft tot de overtuigingen van de periode. Er zijn veel bekende koningen begraven in de vallei, maar natuurlijk de meest bekende is koning Toetanchamon.
Vervolgens reis je naar de prachtige tempel van koningin Hatchepsuit, ook wel bekend als Deir el Bahari. Queen Hatchepsuit betekent dat voorrang van Noble Ladies de eerste handelsroutes zou zijn begonnen.
Ga nu verder naar de Colossi van Memnon. De Colossi van Memnon zijn enorme dubbele beelden gemaakt van blokken kwartsiet zandsteen.
Time For Lunch en vervolgens Medinet Habu, de tempel werd gebouwd om koning Ramses III na zijn dood te herdenken, op bevel van de koning zelf.
Hierna ga je verder naar de overblijfselen van het oude arbeidersdorp in Deir el-Medina. Het was het huis van kunstenaars, ambachtslieden en arbeiders die de koninklijke graven in de Vallei der Koningen bouwden en versierden.
Ga dan op pad om de prachtige Vallei der Koninginnen te bezoeken, waar de tombe van de Grote Koningin Nefertari ligt.

We zullen de dagtochten afleggen met de Tombs of the Nobels, er zijn meer dan 400 graven van adel Waar koninklijke tombes waren versierd met cryptische passages uit het Dodenboek om hen door het hiernamaals te leiden. Roshdy aka Mr. Bombastic was a wonderful tour guide filled with knowledge and was very accommodating! He answered all of our questions and gave us time to explore all locations after telling us the history behind every site.
We had a group of 5 and booked a custom tour with Luxor and Aswan Tours. Our experience was an unforgettable trip and our days were a good balance of history, fun, shopping and down time. One of our favorite memories from the trip was sailing on the Nile at sunset! The Luxor portion of our trip was made so much better by our incredible tour guide Ahmed. He was so patient with our group (we had a few food allergies that required some navigation), genuinely loved to share his knowledge, and added a few impromptu spots during our days that were not originally on our itinerary. One bit of feedback for the Luxor portion that guests would like to know: when we flew into Luxor we had to get ready in the airport bathroom for the day… we began our day by leaving for the Cairo airport at 3:30 am, landed around 8:00 am, got ready at the airport, toured all day, then finally were able to check into our hotel early evening. We made the best of that situation and were grateful for our well thought out itinerary, but it would have gone smoother if we knew ahead of time and were able to prepare ourselves and our packed luggage to be more easily accessible for getting ready in the airport.

My tour guide Roshdy Khodary was very knowledgeable and had a good balance between showing me round the sites, then giving me time to walk around the site on my own. We started at Karnak temple where Roshdy explained everything very clearly. It then meant when we went to the other sites, I knew what I was looking at in terms of symbolism and key markings.
We had an amazing experience going back 3000 years in history. Our tour guide Mohamed was certified guide who was excellent explaing all the sites we visited.
I had an absolute pleasant and extraordinary discovery day with Hassan. Very clear explanation, interesting shopping stops with refreshments and some fun. I definitely recommend his tour.
