I learned on my first trip to Europe not to rely on a taxi being there when you need it, and that not all European countries are Uber-friendly. I now take all the guesswork out of getting to the airport on time by arranging a private transfer ahead of time. Decus Italia were prompt with communications, setting and confirming up a pickup time was easy, the driver was at my hotel ahead of the pickup time, and dropped us off at the exact door for my airline. He was courteous and professional and I would use Decus Italia again and would absolutely recommend them to others.
