Je Gids Daniel haalt je op vanuit je Sydney CBD hotel in een luxe Mercedes busje voor een volledige dag in de Hunter Valley. Deze tour met kleine groepen (max. 11 gasten) bezoekt drie zorgvuldig geselecteerde kelderdeuren - het prachtige Provençaalse landgoed van Krinklewood, het verfijnde 1813 bij Tinonee en de architectonisch opvallende Keith Tulloch Wine. Bij Keith Tulloch is een ambachtelijke chocolatier aanwezig en kunt u gratis een ambachtelijke ginproeverij toevoegen. De lunch is in Café Enzo — een Hunter Valley-instelling sinds 1996, gevestigd in een Toscaanse binnenplaats van zandsteen in Pokolbin. Zelfgemaakt eten, lokale producten, royale borden. Gasten betalen op de dag. Geen drukke toeristische haltes. Geen overhaaste proeverijen. Gewoon een verhoogde dag in het dal met een Gids die het echt kent.

Om 8:00 uur begint uw reis als uw chauffeur / gids u ophaalt van uw aangewezen ophaaladres in Sydney CBD in een luxe minibusje met airconditioning. Geniet van het landschap terwijl we langs de kust richting de prachtige Hunter Valley rijden. De rit is ongeveer 2 1/2 uur. * We halen u op en brengen u terug naar het door u opgegeven adres in Sydney of Hunter Valley - hotel, Airbnb, privéwoning. Kies uit onze lijst met hotels of geef uw adres op tijdens het boeken.
Tegen 11.00 uur arriveert u op uw eerste bestemming – Krimphout Estate. Een verborgen juweeltje omgeven door tuinen in Provençaalse stijl waar pauwen vrij rondlopen. Hier kunt u genieten van een elegante wijnproeverij, perfect gecombineerd met een lokaal geproduceerde kaas- en vleesplank als u dat wenst. Neem langzaam een slokje, want je blijft hier 1 1/2 uur. De perfecte hoeveelheid tijd om ongehaast van de wijn te genieten, de verbluffende sfeer op te snuiven en wat Instagram-waardige foto's te maken op het terrein. Houd er rekening mee dat bezoeken aan kelderdeuren op de dag af en toe kunnen veranderen vanwege privé-evenementen of beschikbaarheid van locaties. Om 12.00 uur gaan we naar 1813, een elegante kelderdeur tussen de wijnstokken van Tinonee Vineyard Estate. Ontspan en geniet van een wijnproeverij in hun kelderdeur met airconditioning tijdens de warmere maanden en open haard op het aangrenzende terras tijdens de koelere maanden, terwijl u het schilderachtige landschap en de spectaculaire zandsteenformatie bekend als Yellow Rock bewondert. Tegen 13:30 uur is het tijd voor een lange, heerlijke lunch. Café Enzo ligt in het Toscaanse zandstenen complex Peppers Creek Village aan Broke Road en is sinds 1996 een van de meest geliefde eetgelegenheden van Hunter Valley. Het menu is opgebouwd rond lokaal geproduceerde, zelfgemaakte gerechten — denk aan royale borden, geweldige koffie en een binnenplaats in de buitenlucht waar je wilt blijven hangen. Het is een echt instituut in de vallei, zowel bekend om zijn sfeer en gastvrijheid als om het eten zelf. Gasten bestellen en betalen op de dag.
Na de lunch stappen we in de gepolijste rust van Keith Tulloch Wine – een architectonisch opvallende, licht gevulde ruimte omlijst door uitzicht op de bergen en gebeeldhouwde gazons. Dit is een plek waar elk detail opzettelijk aanvoelt, van de strakke lijnen van het proeflokaal tot het rustige gezoem van een familielandgoed dat zijn ambacht serieus neemt. Geniet van een begeleide proeverij van hun prachtig gemaakte wijnen en als u de ervaring wilt verbeteren, kunt u ervoor kiezen om een selectie van boutique gins te proeven die zijn gemaakt in samenwerking met lokale distilleerders. Neem voordat we vertrekken even de tijd om de ambachtelijke chocolatier van het hotel te bekijken, waar handgemaakte stukken de perfecte afwerking bieden aan deze elegante stop. Coast to Cork was such a great experience, I highly recommend them! Daniel is just the kind of guy to spend the day with visiting wineries. He really made it so lovely. The thought really went into picking great places that aren’t overcrowded. The wine was wonderful and the wine makers were awesome to chat with. We also moved to Sydney about a month ago and loveeeee the kangaroos, which Daniel made sure to help us find them throughout the day with the last stop having them all over the vineyards! Daniel is also extremely knowledgeable about wine and Hunter Valley, including all surrounding areas. Truly cannot recommend this tour enough! Thank you for such a great day!
Daniel and Kylie were our guides. We couldn’t have asked for better guides. They knew about all the wineries and selected the very best. We were treated like VIPs all along the trip. The lunch was very good at Enzo. Warning… The portions are humongous. We had so much fun. We highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend. A great wine tasting experience. We were picked up in Sydney in a comfortable Mercedes 9 seater. Visited 3 cellar doors with some great wines and had a lovely lunch. Daniel is the perfect guide and Lydia is super helpful with her communications and details for the tour.

Pickup at the hotel was great and easy. Wineries chosen especially the Thomas Allen winery (which was outstanding) were all good. The bonus was seeing kangaroos in the wild. They were just outside of a winery resting in the shade. It was the icing on the cake.

6 stars! Coast to cork messaged us the night before with an exact pick up time and Daniel met us on time. The Mercedes van was very nice and clean, I had a nice wine nap on the way back to Sydney. Daniel is so nice and was cool to chat with, he told us stories of Australia and Australian wine. He took us to Vinden (our favorite), Keith Tolluch (where we had an awesome lunch) and Thomas Allen (where we bought the most bottles). Each winery was passionate about wine making and the experiences they provided, each host was super knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks again Daniel and Cork to Coast, we had such a great trip! We highly recommend.

The drive to the Hunter Valley was entertaining, you had a good impression of the scenery - the guide gave us interesting background information about the area and the history of the winegrowing and the individual wineries that emerged here - all around it was a sensual, culinary experience in beautiful locations! It was one of the highlights of our 4day Sydney stay!

We had an amazing time on our vineyard tour, Dan was such a great host! He was relaxed, friendly, and full of interesting information about the Hunter. It was a delightful trip with 3 wineries that are not so commercialised. The wines were great. During the drive, you could see wild kangaroos too. Our guide Daniel was friendly and did his best to make customers happy.
