I was REALLY looking forward to this tour. However, the night before, the tour company emailed me to let me know that Rose Halll is no longer offering the nighttime tour. Also, you can't book it for one person. I tried to work with them but they stated they could only take $65 off of the total price of $325 (for two people). Not suited for single travelers I guess.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few things you mentioned. * Tour was canceled the Night Before Due to covid, the operation of some tours are under higher scrutiny than others and to ensure the safety of the staff and visitors, the operation of these tours are dynamic and can change at the last minute. While we understand your disappointment, it was clearly communicated that the tour was just suspended until further notice and not the permanent discontinuation of the experience. Additionally, there was an offer to do an alternate day-version of the experience, but this was refused. Regarding your notification of the change/advisory from the attraction, this was provided 34 hours prior to your experience start time and not the night before. * Tour not suited for single travelers We understand that some travelers are on a budget and while the experience is presented with a minimum of 2 participants per booking, the reality is that the operational cost and taxes for booking 2 participants is roughly the same as the booking 1 participant. The discount/refund offered on your reservation was a courtesy and was for US$62.50. It is always our desire to offer a great experience to all our customers and when there are unexpected changes such as what happened in your case, we try to offer an alternate experience which is usually similar to the originally booked tour. If the alternate experience is not accepted, then a full refund is always provided as was in your situation.
