Selvatura Park is een natuurreservaat gelegen in het bosgebied van Monteverde, het heeft een oppervlakte van meer dan 350 hectare beschermd land, waar op dezelfde plaats de meeste van de beste activiteiten in het gebied worden aangeboden. Hierdoor kunnen bezoekers profiteren van het feit dat ze veel meer van hun tijd kunnen besteden aan activiteiten zoals rondleidingen in plaats van het te gebruiken om van de ene activiteit naar de andere te worden getransporteerd op de rotsachtige weg van Monteverde, wat de tevredenheid van onze bezoekers altijd heeft gemaakt lang zijn.

We only had one full day in Monteverde and booked this tour specifically for the combination of Zip-lines and the Butterfly/Hummingbird Garden at Selvatura Park. The transportation van arrived on time to pick us up, however, he drove us to Treetopia Park because the tour operator apparently booked us at the wrong place for a Zip-line tour only! We spent over an hour at Treetopia trying to contact the tour operator to get to Selvatura Park, meanwhile, the temperature dropped and it started raining. And we found out the Zipline tours at Selvatura stop at 2:00 and the Butterfly Garden closes at 3:15. The staff at Treetopia were very helpful and finally reached someone on the phone for us. We were offered to be returned to our hotel and to do the Selvatura tour that we booked the next day, which was not an option, as we were leaving the next day. We opted to do the Treetopia zip-lines (our only option left at this point) and got on the last tour of the day there at 3:00. It was great but not what we booked. We were told we would receive a refund for the butterfly/hummingbird garden, but still have not received a refund.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re truly sorry for what happened. You planned carefully around a very limited stay in Monteverde, and being taken to the wrong park completely disrupted the experience you booked and expected. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and the lost opportunity to enjoy the full Selvatura experience. While we’re glad you were at least able to enjoy the zip-lines at Treetopia, we fully recognize that this was not the product you purchased. We are so glad we signed up for this tour. The zip lining experience was perfect for a family with young kids. They made our kids feel at ease. We had a blast. The guided tour to the butterfly garden was also very informative. Highly recommend this experience especially the zip lining part.

Lots of fun! Challenging hiking in between the zip lines. Be prepared for that. Wish they told us to bring water! It would have been great to have a picture of the tandem zip line as well as the individual ones.

Selvatura Adventure park was one of our best experiences with amazing ziplines and interactive tours. We did the zipline experience which was exceptional for the sights and length of the lines as well as the Tarzan Swing and Superman Option for 1000m. Loved the butterfly garden tour which was immersive with our incredibly knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended!
