Je adembenemende avontuur begint met een gepersonaliseerde pick-up van Limon Pier en dicht bij het schip. Na het ophalen door onze gecertificeerde gids, een ontspannende rit door het prachtige Costa Ricaanse platteland met een transportmiddel met airconditioning en een recent model luxe voertuig. u naar uw geselecteerde activiteiten. Je gids wijst je onderweg op veel bezienswaardigheden tot je aankomt bij de eerste stop in Cahuita National Park, waar de zoektocht naar luiaards begint. In dit park zijn veel luiaards in hun natuurlijke habitat en vrij. Hier leer je over hun natuurlijke geschiedenis, gedrag en vele andere interessante feiten over dit mooie dier. Na Cahuita vervolgt u de tour, maar deze keer maakt u een boottocht in het Tortuguero-kanaal. Tijdens deze leuke reis zul je meer luiaards kunnen zien, omdat ze graag dicht bij de rivieren wonen. OPMERKING: deze tour is bedoeld om luiaards in hun natuurlijke habitat te zien. We raken de dieren niet aan en manipuleren ze niet. Geen bezoek heiligdommen

Cahuita National Park is een terrestrisch en marien nationaal park in het Caribisch gebied La Amistad Conservation Area van Costa Rica, gelegen aan de zuidelijke Caribische kust in de provincie Limón, verbonden met de stad Cahuita. Cahuita National Park is uniek in Costa Rica vanwege de nauwe relatie met de gemeenschap, een voorbeeld van gedeeld beheer tussen de gemeenschap en de overheid voor een duurzame ontwikkeling op gemeenschapsniveau. Participatie van parkwachten en gemeenschapsleven onderscheidt zich door een gedeeld bestuurlijk beheer. Witte zandstranden, een turquoise zee en een divers onderwaterleven zijn enkele van de attracties die op u wachten in Cahuita National Park in de provincie Limon.
Het Tortuguero-kanaal is een beschermd natuurgebied aan de noordelijke Caribische kust van Costa Rica. De stranden zijn beroemde broedplaatsen voor zeeschildpadden, waaronder bedreigde groene schildpadden. De zoetwaterkreken en lagunes van het park, die per boot of kano kunnen worden bevaren, bieden onderdak aan brilkaaimannen en rivierschildpadden. Het omliggende dichte regenwoud is ook rijk aan dieren in het wild, van apen tot vele vogelsoorten. Onze tour omvat een rustige boottocht langs de grachten om de rijke biodiversiteit van het gebied te bewonderen.

SPECIALE OPMERKING OVER OPHAALTIJD Al onze ophaaltijden staan standaard ingesteld op 8 : 00 AM. ECHTER : Indien uw schip na 08:00 uur aankomt, zal de Pickup 30 minuten na aankomst van het schip zijn. U kunt uw tour boeken en wij zullen de tijd aanpassen met uw schip aankomst. Als u te laat komt, wachten onze medewerkers op u tot aan het scheepsdok en laten u van boord gaan. Wij voeren al onze tours dienovereenkomstig uit met de aankomst van het schip. Meeting Point : Hoofdingang van de pier. Het is een zeer korte loopafstand van het cruiseschip. Eenmaal bij de ingang van de pier, ziet u een Greenway Tours Gids met een bordje met uw naam. Belangrijke opmerking : Deze tour is exclusief voor passagiers van cruiseschepen. Als u niet met een cruiseschip aankomt, boek deze tour dan niet. Tour werkt alleen als we cruiseschepen in de haven hebben.

Great tour with driver Steven, visited Cahuita National Park, and agriculture walk, and boat tour on the Moin canal in March 2026. Saw many howler monkeys, 2 and 3-toed sloth, Carmen, small snakes and many birds. It was a great trip!

We had a fantastic day on the Sloth Lovers Tour in Limon! Our tour director, Natalie, was incredibly informative — she shared so much about the local wildlife, plants, and culture, and made everything fun and easy to understand. Juan Carlos, our driver, did a great job too — smooth driving and always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of the day and loved seeing the sloths up close in their natural habitat. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Limon!

Ariel the tour guide was great !!!!! as was the bus driver…About 4 people were 15 minutes late and 6 people were 30 minutes late for the tour which was frustrating for those of us that were on time!!! Ariel was very nice(there was a rude passenger)

My fiancé and I booked this private tour through Viator website. This by far, was one of the best eye opening experiences I’ve ever had! It was basically a 3 part tour we were gone for 6-7 hours. Our driver Steve took us where ever we wanted. We had drinks, food, and made memories to last a lifetime! This is one of the best tours you’ll ever book and you will not regret it. The guide Natalie and driver Andy were great. Very knowledgeable and helpful The reason for the 3 rating is our group was full of elderly with walkers and wheelchairs. This held us up every where and slowed the whole group down. Then one entitled woman asked to stop at a pharmacy because of a cold and then did not buy anything. This tour is not for handicapped people at all. Very disappointed in Viator. Below your standards as we have experienced in the past!!
Thank you for your positive review about our staff. Regarding the other passengers in wheelchair I have to tell you that it surprise us as well due the tour is listed as not wheelchair accessible. Even this note the clients ignore it and book the tour. Shared tours can have this type of issues

El dia 24 de octubre no tuvimos ningun pasajero que se haya quedado fuera del tour. Todas las reservas confirmadas se presentaron al lugar y hora establecida. Este dia no tuvimos ninguna reserva para el tour de Sloths Lovers, por lo que su evaluacion no corresponde a nuestra empresa y vamos a pedir a Viator que haga una investigacion y elimine esta mala evaluacion que usted da a nuestra empresa. Si usted hubiera solicitado reembolso, viator ya nos hubiera contactado para procesar el mismo, lo cual no lo ha hecho por una sencilla razon. Usted no tenia una reserva con nosotros. Seria bueno que antes de hacer estas evaluaciones verifique que las haga en la pagina de la empresa correcta
