Luchthaven Rio de Janeiro Retour Privétransfer

D0 N0T B00K THIS TRIP - it says round trip but entirely FAILED TO DELIVER. Insteead of a return trip to the airport they conveniently 'lost' the details and left us stranded at the hotel. At first we thought they were stuck in traffic then became worried and called the company. But no (conveniently) they had no record of the return half of the explicit round trip - despite the messages sent 6 weeks beforre when booking the trip. Lefty us stranded and scrambeling for an alternative taxi to the airport.

Pickup from GIG was ontime. Guide found us in the airport. Big bus with only our group. Good communication. Took us back to the airport a little early which was fine.

We decided we needed an earlier pickup, so caused the operator much grief—not their fault at all. Our driver, Marcelo was kind and one of the best drivers we have ever had. Thanks for a great experience.

I am giving your service a rating of 3, because when I purchased the private transfer I called over the phone to make sure we were getting a van, and I was told by the rep that we were getting a van, the driver that showed came in in a compact car, I must say and I want to be very clear, our driver was very attentive he explained us lots of things along the way and I am very pleased with his service, but we had to take some off our luggage inside his car after his trunk got filled, I don't think it's fair to me and the driver because I guarantee you we both got the short end of the stick.

Driver did not show to pick us up from airport. I had to call Grayline Brazil to find out why no one was at the airport for the confirmed transfer to our hotel. They said there was a problem with the driver and we would be refunded.

HORRIBLE! Do not book with this company. We had our flight canceled in Milwaukee due to weather. Which meant we didn’t make our connecting flight into Rio. I messaged the company at 8:30pm (as soon as the pilot announced that the flight was cancelled)to let them know we would not be at the airport as planned and to reschedule us the next day. I never got a reply, by the time our flight was canceled, the company who I booked the transfer with was already closed for the day. They didn’t see the message until later after the driver was already there at the airport. Why wouldn’t you CHECK YOUR EMAILS before dispatching the driver???!!! Delayed flights are not something new. When I called I talked to someone and they said they would not reschedule our pickup unless we paid full price. That there was a 24 hour refund policy. Obviously had I had super human powers and was able to predict that the flight would be cancelled, then yeah I would have canceled that day. They refused to work with me and also said insinuated that I was being dishonest because our original flight was on time. What they couldn’t get through their heads was that that flight was our connecting 🤦🏻‍♀️ our Milwaukee flight was canceled. Long story long. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. If anything happens to your flights, they don’t give a crap. They’ve already got your money. I’m out $275 and had to pay for a different service. Stay away

Easy and waiting for us, no issues Would recommend we arrived later than expected and the driver was very friendly

Gus was very professional, friendly and informative. He knew alot about the history of Brazil and gave manu good tips.

We were met at the gate at the airport and transferred to our hotel (this was especially appreciated as we had just completed a 26 hour journey from Australia) and then taken from our hotel to the airport in time for us to catch our flight. Both transfers went smoothly without any problems, we were met as arranged before we left home. I would recommend this service.
