We really enjoyed our Louvre visit! The whole organization was very good, the instructions easy to follow and the whole experience was impressive. We must mention, however, what made it even more special was our guide Maxim’s guidance! He is a very knowledgeable, precise, descriptive and pleasant person! We would highly recommend this wonderful experience!
Guide told us to get water but failed to tell us it had to be in a bottle- so we had to throw it out. Guide did not count number of participants so we wasted 20 minutes while she tried to straighten tickets missing. The 3 hours was only 1 1/2 hours. I would not use this outfit again.
Wonderful guide! Be advised, even with a group and timed entrance it took an hour (!) to get all the way into the museum.
I really enjoyed the tour with Laurent. He did an amazing job with the history of those chosen for the tour. I’m not sure how I have signed up for the same tour 3 times and have seen something slightly different every time. I like the tours, I wish there was a way to know ahead of time what the highlights are to be, however, I keep going back to Viator because you guys do an amazing job hiring guides. I have never been disappointed. Keep up the great work. 10/10. Not sure if there is a way to check in advance what will be closed, I missed the Royal apartments and really wanted to see them.
Very Disappointed. We were asked to show up 15 mins early, which we did. When we arrived, we were told that the Louvre would not open for another 1 1/2 and we had prepaid a lunch at LooLoo for 12:30pm. We had to rush and only received 1/2 the tour . I will appreciate a refund as we did not enjoy the experience. I have used your services in the past and was always satisfied. The Tour operator could not figure out what to do and we were in limbo until we were told this is the way it is. VERY VERY UNSATISFIED!!!!!!!!! For 900 EURO
Louvre Museum is incredible, and you should probably block off an entire day for it. Please note, the Lourve had a delayed opening of 1.5 hours and we did not know this until we arrived at the entrance. Our guide, Eric, said this was normal for Lourvre workers to delay openings the morning of. Please be aware that this possibility is strong on Monday mornings. Eric was a fantastic guide and helped us through the the delay and was very insightful.
We tried several times to contact the activity provider because our flight got delayed and made us late for our 230pm appointment. We lost our money so we had a horrible experience and we asked for a refund but we were not offered a refund. It was very hard to get in contact with the Guide. I would recommend booking directly with the place.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. He got us in and around the Louvre quickly and without incident.
I wanted to love this tour but it was extremely draining. Our tour guide (I won't mention her name) was a bit hard to understand and we felt she stayed in front of each "talking point" waaay too long. And because of this, we left 1/2 way through. Made our way to the Mona Lisa and then departed. If I was to do it again, I would simply buy our tickets and see what we're interested in by ourselves. Maybe if you're someone that wants a "ton" of details, then this tour would be for you.
Saw all highlights and skipped many entrance lines. The Louve was very busy so this private tour helped navigate the enormous area.
