Ervaar de Schotse Hooglanden tijdens een dagtour met kleine groep vanuit Glasgow, onder leiding van een Expert lokale chauffeur- Gids die bekend staat om boeiende verhalen en diepgaande lokale kennis. Met maximaal 16 gasten geniet u van een meer ontspannen reis door iconische landschappen, waaronder Glencoe, de Great Glen en Loch Ness, met tijd om elke stop echt te waarderen in plaats van tussen locaties te haasten. Bij Loch Ness is een optionele rondvaart van 50 minuten beschikbaar op de dag (afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid en ter plaatse te betalen). Gasten die liever niet meedoen aan de cruise kunnen genieten van vrije tijd in het dorp en langs de kustlijn van het loch.

We stoppen in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park voor een ochtend verfrissingspauze. Geniet van het uitzicht over het loch en de omliggende landschappen, met tijd om je benen te strekken en foto's te maken voordat je verder gaat naar het noorden.
Glencoe is een van de meest iconische en sfeervolle valleien van Schotland en staat bekend om zijn dramatische landschap en krachtige geschiedenis. We stoppen hier om gasten uit de minibus te laten stappen, foto's te nemen en het landschap te bewonderen terwijl ze meer te weten komen over de gebeurtenissen die deze beroemde vallei hebben gevormd.
Terwijl we door Fort William reizen, is er de mogelijkheid om Ben Nevis, de hoogste berg in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, te bekijken door de grote panoramische ramen van de minibus op heldere dagen.
Onze kleine groep stopt in het historische dorpje Fort Augustus, gelegen aan het zuidelijke uiteinde van Loch Ness. Dit is onze belangrijkste halte van de dag, zodat u kunt genieten van de lunch, het dorp kunt verkennen, boten kunt zien passeren door de Caledonische kanaalsluizen en kunt genieten van uitzichten langs het meer.
Bij Loch Ness hebben gasten de mogelijkheid om deel te nemen aan een optionele cruise van 50 minuten (beschikbaar op de dag en ter plaatse te betalen). Degenen die ervoor kiezen om de cruise niet te nemen, kunnen extra tijd doorbrengen met het verkennen van Fort Augustus of genieten van uitzichten langs het meer.
Terwijl we zuidwaarts rijden over de A9, door het Cairngorms National Park, genieten we vanuit de minibus van het uitzicht op de weidse landschappen van de Highlands en het berglandschap.
We maken 's avonds een verfrissingsstop in de omgeving van Perthshire, en bieden een laatste gelegenheid om te ontspannen, uw benen te strekken en van het landschap te genieten voordat u terugkeert naar Glasgow.

Our tour guide Scot was great. He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the history. We did the day trip to the highlands visited Ford Augustus where we went for a cruise on lochness. Even though it was a long day it was well worth it because the highlands is breathtakingly beautiful and the Scottish history and culture is so amazing
It was a day in the highlands from Glasgow. It was a small comfortable group tour of the highlands experiencing breathtaking beauty with its ever changing weather and scenery. It was well paced, highlight being Loch Ness. A special mention of our Guide and driver “ Scott the Scotsman” hilarious , helpful and very engaging just added more spice and made the tour more memorable .we got to experience local whisky and also met some Scottish highland Hairy cows. My young girls loved it Thank you for making a memorable day in the highlands .
Excellent tour! Very informative guide, who kept me informed the whole day exactly what was happening, how long it would take to get there and how long we would stay. Tour went ahead even though I was the only one who applied (up to 17 Pax possible). Absolutely stunning scenery all the way, not just at the Loch. Highly recommend.

Johnny was so lovely! Incredibly knowledgeable of Scotland’s history and the region. He gave us plenty of time to explore Fort Augustus which was really great. My sister and I asked him where we could find Highland cows to pet and feed. He was kind enough to take us to a farm where we could see a cow and her babies. It was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this tour!!

We booked a 5 day tour with Discover Scotland for our family group of 12. This was a private tour that we booked a year in advance, for a special family occasion. Laura and the team in the office were amazing, ensured the tour covered everything that we wanted to do and see and very responsive to all our questions.
