Ervaar het prachtige landschap van het Loch Lomond en het Trossachs National Park, voer onze Highland Cows en bezoek een Victoriaans stadje. In deze tour heeft u de mogelijkheid om Luss te bezoeken - door sommigen beschouwd als het mooiste dorp in Schotland - en te genieten van het ontzagwekkende uitzicht op Loch Lomond vanaf de pier van het dorp. Vervolgens gaan we naar Kilmahog, waar u onze harige Highland Coos kunt ontmoeten en voeden, voordat u naar de Victoriaanse stad Callander gaat, waar u tijd hebt om de overvloed aan schilderachtige onafhankelijke winkels, cafés en restaurants te verkennen. Tot slot bezoeken we Doune Castle, gebruikt in Monty Python, Outlander en Game of Thrones films en tv-series, voordat we u terugbrengen naar uw vakantieverblijf.

Het prachtige dorp Luss ligt aan de oevers van Loch Lomond. U heeft 30 minuten om dit prachtige, schilderachtige erfgoeddorp te verkennen, dat is verkozen tot 'het mooiste dorp van Schotland'. In Luss vindt u ook een zeldzame Viking Hogback-grafsteen.
Bij Kilmahog krijgt u de kans om de beroemde Schotse Hooglanders te ontmoeten (en te voeren!).
Callander, vaak aangeduid als 'The Gateway to the Highlands', is een klein stadje dat beroemd werd tijdens de Victoriaanse tijd als een populaire vakantiebestemming voor bezoekers die de grote geïndustrialiseerde steden wilden ontvluchten op zoek naar natuur, prachtige landschappen en frisse lucht. Het stadje heeft veel van zijn Victoriaanse karakter behouden en u hebt 1 uur de tijd om de vele onafhankelijke winkels, cafés en restaurants te verkennen.
Doune Castle is een typisch 14e-eeuws middeleeuws kasteel, met een van de best bewaarde grote zalen in Schotland. Naast de rol in Monty Python en de Heilige Graal, werd Doune Castle ook gebruikt als Castle Leoch in Outlander en Winterfell in de pilot van de bekroonde tv-serie Game of Thrones.

We halen u op bij uw hotel of andere vakantieaccommodatie in Glasgow of Stirling. Als u op een cruise bent, zullen we u ontmoeten bij de uitgang van de passagiersterminal van het cruiseschip. U wordt afgezet op dezelfde plaats waar u bent opgehaald.

Our guide Shak had a lot of knowledge of the places visited, aswell as their history, and could answer questions asked accordingly. He was very positive and friendly, especially to the kids. The tour in generell was very kid friendly and enjoyable.

Just a delight to tour the Scottish countryside with Karen, our guide. Visiting the tiny village of Luss was adorable as was seeing Loch Lomond. A nice day off the boat in Glasgow. Scotland is vast so expect a bit of a long ride. Shaq quickly figured out that there were golf people in the car so an unplanned detour to Cameron House on Loch Lomond was a bonus! His storytelling and singing kept us all fully entertained. Would recommend him without hesitation.
