Calle Ocho, het uitgaanscentrum van de wijk Little Havana. We bezoeken The Little Havana Art Gallery met meer dan 40 verschillende artiesten onder één dak. We zullen ook de Calle Ocho Ice Cream-winkel bezoeken om Homemade Cuban Ice Cream te hebben. (De favoriet van een local) We eindigen ook met een lunch in El Pub Restaurant. Een decennia oud Cubaans lokaal eigendom, alle andere haltes staan vermeld in de reisbeschrijving.
Luister naar de feitelijke geschiedenis van de veteranen en voormalige CIA-agenten die vochten in de Amerikaanse invasie van de Varkensbaai in Cuba. Ga op de foto met de veteranen en schud elkaar de hand.

Cubanen speelden tot halverwege de jaren zeventig in de tuin toen het Domino Park werd gebouwd. Nu een internationale toeristische attractie waar honderdduizenden toeristen elk jaar naartoe komen om de lokale bevolking te horen spelen en hun gepassioneerde spelen te zien plaatsvinden.

Great tour. We were late and they accommodated us anyway and gave us a private tour instead. We are grateful.
We paid for a ride all the way from South Beach to Little Havana only to find out that the tour was cancelled due to “bad weather.” It was 82 degrees and partly cloudy. We wanted to learn history of the area and sample the cuisine but instead we are out transportation fees and vacation time. Due to tour provider cancelling for no reason, we missed out on an experience we could have received (hopefully) by another tour provider.
We do not force travelers to walk in the rain because of no refund policies, or rain or shine policies. It did rain after the scheduled tour time. We chose against omitting that information from you. We could not, in good faith, start the tour knowing it would rain afterwards. pardon any inconvenience but you're welcome to a free tour (discounts on foods).
As a lifelong resident of Little Havana, this tour guide is very knowledgeable about the history of businesses and people of Little Havana. Also has great knowledge of and connection to Cuba. Friendly and easy to talk to, this tour guide is passionate about telling others the interesting history and current ongoing of the area. You'll enjoy this tour for its wealth of knowledge.
It is a very beautiful and historical tour, with the beautiful story of the Veteran Heroes of Brigade 2506 and one of the Historical passages of the beginning of the Missile Crisis and part of the Cold War
Very interesting place. Good food. The museum staff very nice people. Tour guide knows his town!! Interesting culture. FYI there’s a parking app to park on streets.
Highly recommend for history aficionados and anyone who enjoys a truly authentic experience of Little Havana! You are in for a treat! Book and enjoy! Truly the highlight of our family Miami vacation.
My companion and I took this tour as retirees to see some of the Miami sights after a 4 day cruise. I was particularly interested in this tour because it offered 45 minutes at Bay of Pigs Museum vs 5 or 10 minute spiel at a nearby monument. Turns out we were the only 2 guests on a May Monday morning, so our bilingual guide Angel had plenty of time to show us Karmen's Bakery (the meeting spot) and taste Cuban coffee and pastries, visit Bay of Pigs Museum to explain the history of the battle, see the artifacts, a short video and meet an actual Bay of Pigs 82 year-old veteran (usually 5 or 6 are there each day) who shared his personal experience of the event. We also met some Cuban artists and viewed their works before finishing off with an authentic Cuban sandwich at El Pub after stopping by Domino Park. We may have missed a couple of spots, but we did it at our own pace and Angel showed us his love and enthusiasm for the Little Havana neighborhood and Cuban culture he grew up with and still enjoys to this day.
