Tijdens deze Express Tour gaan we verder dan de oppervlakte om de hoogtepunten en curiositeiten te ontdekken die "Calle Ocho" definiëren. Van de legendarische geschiedenis van de ballingschapsmigratie uit de jaren 1960 tot de kleurrijke kunst die elke hoek versiert, u zult de evolutie van dit culturele herkenningspunt ervaren door zijn meest authentieke smaken. If you want some amazing Cuban Food, interested in American/Cuban Culture and have never experienced Cuban cigar rolling, you’ve come to the right place!! Our tour guide Jen has deep knowledge of Cuban history with us only matched by the delicious food we ate on this tour! Cuban coffee, empanadas, the classic Cuban sandwich, this tour has it all! Jen’s in depth knowledge of history made the tour fly by! We have never had a bad tour from Secret Food Tours and this one continues to raise the bar on value for your money! We had an excellent history and food walking tour with Jennifer featuring the history of Cuba, Little Havana , Cuban culture and cuisine. Jennifer was very knowledgeable, always interesting, and tailored the tour to meet our interests. She took us to sample a wide variety of foods and drinks at a number of noted establishments along Calle Ocho. I highly recommend taking this tour with Jennifer. We had a very interesting, informative and entertaining tour with Cesar who was knowledgeable, fun and managed the torrential rain interruptions very well. Our guide Kayan met us at the Bay of Pigs monument and we embarked from there on a neighborhood learning and tasting adventure. Kayan adapted the tour to meet the needs of our small group which included vegetrians, a toddler, and an 11 year old (my daughter). We stopped at the parks, monuments, murals, fruit stand, pastry shop, a restaurant, ice cream shop, and guayabera store. Everyone was happy with the amount of historical and cultural information provided and the pace, which allowed for multiple seated breaks and bathroom stops. My favorite tour on our last visit to Miami (and we did 3!).
