Litchfield Nationaal Park Watervallen & Wildlife Adventure Tour

Reis met ons mee op een tour naar de ongerepte wateren en bossen van Litchfield National Park. Spot honderden verschillende soorten dieren in het wild, waaronder vogels en reptielen in het Fogg Dam Conservation Centre. Loop tussen gigantische magnetische termietenheuvels die verspreid over het nationale park liggen. Om af te koelen en te ontspannen, verken je de watervallen bij Florence Falls en zwem je in het koele water van Buley Rockhole. Tegen een meerprijs kunt u ook een optionele "Jumping Crocodile Cruise" toevoegen (optie WLFC-B). Houd er rekening mee dat de route op verschillende tijdstippen van het jaar kan veranderen als gevolg van de weersomstandigheden.

Maak je klaar - ons avontuur begint snel! De bus is onderweg, dus pak je spullen, voel de spanning en laten we gaan! Darwin verlatend, gaan we zuidwaarts de Stuart Hwy af en dan naar onze eerste stop die 50 minuten van de stad ligt. Gasten hebben de mogelijkheid van een 1 uur durende springkrokodillencruise of een wetlands wandeling.
Verken deze wetlands vol zeldzame vogelsoorten, krokodillen en andere Australische dieren. Als alternatief zullen gasten die het tarieftype inclusief de Jumping Crocodile cruise kopen, de Adelaide River niet bezoeken in plaats van Fogg Dam.
Onze eerste voor de dag, zal zijn in de buurt van Adelaide River, gasten hebben de mogelijkheid om ofwel een vogel wetlands bezoeken of upgraden naar een 1-uur Jumping Crocodile Cruise.
Voordat we naar het Litchfield National Park gaan, stoppen we in de township voor Batchelor om wat lunch te pakken om mee te nemen naar de watervallen.
Bezoek de torenhoge eeuwenoude Magnetic Termite Mounds.
Breng de dag met ons door met het verkennen van termietenheuvels, wandelen door weelderig bos en afkoelen met zwemmen in rotsgaten en watervallen.
Neem een duik in de beroemde dompelbaden bij Florence Falls of Tolmer Falls in het bos.
Koel af in de ongerepte poelen van Buley Rockholes of Wangi Falls.
Een van onze waterval stops is Wangi Falls, als de tijd het toelaat en de omstandigheden het toelaten nemen we een duik als alternatief kunnen we gewoon stoppen met foto's bij deze spectaculaire waterval.
Terwijl we terugrollen naar je opstapplaats, leun je achterover, ontspan je en herbeleef je de magie van de dag – vol epische bezienswaardigheden, lachen en onvergetelijke momenten. Wat een avontuur! Terugkeer naar Darwin City, rond 18:30 uur in de avond.

This was a full day tour that delivered on its promises. Early pickup was on time and we drove to the crocodile jump cruise. Some did that while the rest of us drove through the Fogg dam area. After picking up the cruisers we drove into Litchfield via Batchelor and visited 3 quite different swimming holes with various kinds of waterfalls. June is the perfect time for this tour. 31/32 degrees and low humidity. The amount of time spent at each venue was more than fair. Dylan, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and looked after us well. We viewed termite mounds then were dropped off at our pickup point.

Excellent tour, it was a big day but there were plenty of stops. We really enjoyed the scenery and the swimming. Dylan our tour guide was exceptional. He was very caring, funny but most of all very knowledgeable. His knowledge went far beyond Litchfield NP flora and fauna, as we travelled he also told us aboriginal culture and special sites in Lichfield and about Darwin history and current info. He wasn't short of stories either he had the whole bus in fits of laughter. There were 4 people in our group and everyone enjoyed their day. This is a must do trip when in Darwin. I really enjoyed the day. Eric was a wonderful driver and guide. The people on the tour were also very enjoyable people. The waterfalls were beautiful and we did swim. The water was awesome. Termites what an interesting creature. The crocodiles were a great addition as well. Overall a perfect day to explore and enjoy. The only thing was the website said we had to purchase our own park pass. This was not so. It was included in the tour. Please change that for others in the future. I obtained one on line and it was not necessary. Again hats off to our guide Eric, a great calm and interesting person....

Did this tour in the wet season but still covered lots of places of interest & had a croc free dip! A well organised trip - the bus was air-conditioned, had an esky to keep our food cold & plenty of cold water to refill drink bottles. Daryl was a great guide & driver giving us enough information but not overloading us. We stopped at some great roadhouses to get supplies & well-timed rest stops! He also was great at ensuring everyone had a good time & did his best to drop everyone back near their accommodation. Went to Fogg Dam, the Zebra stone centre, saw both types of Termite mounds, Florence falls & a lovely long stop at the Buley Rockholes for a refreshing dip. Also stopped at Wangi Falls on the way back, to see the amazing waterfall there - closed for swimming at present due to crocs - this is where they recently caught a 4.6m one! Once you accept that at this time of year there will be limitations to what you can do, you enjoy all that you can do. Would love to come back in the dry season to see the difference.
