Vaar onder de iconische 25 de Abril-brug van Lissabon door, een opvallende rode hangbrug over de rivier de Taag. Het werd geopend in 1966 en verbindt Lissabon met Almada en biedt een van de meest fotogenieke uitzichtpunten van de stad – vooral tijdens het gouden uur.
Spot de futuristische MAAT van Lissabon aan de Taag – een opvallend museum dat bekend staat om zijn uitgestrekte bochten en loopbrug langs de rivier op het dak. Het gedurfde eigentijdse ontwerp maakt het een van de meest gefotografeerde moderne bezienswaardigheden in de stad, vooral omdat het licht weerkaatst op het water.
Zie de indrukwekkende Padrão dos Descobrimentos oprijzen aan de waterkant van Belém, een bezienswaardigheid die de Portugese eeuw van ontdekkingen viert. In de vorm van een scheepsvoorsteven staan Prins Hendrik de Zeevaarder en andere iconische figuren tegenover de Taag – symbool voor de reizen die Portugal met de wereld verbonden.
Bewonder de toren van Belém, het perfecte fort van Lissabon dat aan de rand van de Taag staat. We had an amazing chartered boat tour in Lisbon with Pedro as our guide, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Pedro’s knowledge of Lisbon’s history was incredible… he brought the city and coastline to life with stories and context you’d never get from a guidebook. By the end of the tour, we felt like we actually understood Lisbon, not just saw it. On top of that, Pedro gave us fantastic recommendations for beaches and restaurants that ended up being some of our favorite spots during the rest of our stay. He was warm, personable, and clearly passionate about sharing his city with visitors. If you’re looking for a boat tour in Lisbon, ask for Pedro… you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!
A great way to start our trip in Lisbon. The boat was beautiful and the tour was informative without feeling like we’ve been bombarded with facts. The food was perfect and the wine was flowing throughout
it was the most memorable tour. we had wine, snack and the tour guide was awesome. it was hard to h get there as the traffic and transportation was sketchy so just be aware!

This cruise was amazing! Pedro was a wonderful host and captain. He shared great bits of the history of Lisbon along the way. The views of Lisboa, Belem, and other coastal areas were beautiful, especially the sunset behind the bridge! The Alentejo and wine were delish. Pedro also provided blankets for us, which were needed! It may be June, but it was very cold (to me) out on the river. This was our favorite activity on our trip!

What an amazing experience! This is an excellent way to see the city along with some other monuments you may have missed. The ride was fun, wine and snacks were plenty, sunset gorgeous, and the guide was great!! Best tour of our trip!
