Beleef een onvergetelijke dag Sintra en Cascais verkennen zonder de stress van het rijden. Ga door de adembenemende Serra de Sintra, ook wel bekend als het Sintra-gebergte, een beschermd natuurlijk landschap in de buurt van Lissabon dat bekend staat om zijn groene heuvels, dramatische valleien, oude rotsformaties en unieke mix van natuur, geschiedenis en legende.
De Sabugafontein ligt verscholen in het historische centrum van Sintra en is een rustige 17e-eeuwse plek die bekend staat om zijn frisse, mineraalrijke water en lokale tradities. Lang geassocieerd met legendes van genezing en welzijn, biedt deze rustige fontein een charmante pauze langs de route en een kijkje in het culturele erfgoed van Sintra.
Geniet vanaf de bergweg van een ver uitzicht op het Moorse kasteel, een oud fort waarvan de stenen muren zich uitstrekken over de heuvels van Sintra. We bezoeken het kasteel niet of stoppen niet bij de ingang, maar dit schilderachtige uitzichtpunt biedt een geweldige kans om zijn indrukwekkende silhouet te bewonderen en de historische rol in de regio te begrijpen.

De dramatische naam Boca do Inferno – wat “mond van de hel” betekent – komt van de opvallende rotsformatie die door de meedogenloze kracht van de Atlantische Oceaan in de kliffen is uitgehouwen. Wanneer de golven in de grot eronder botsen, explodeert het water door de opening in een krachtige en dramatische weergave, waardoor een van de meest indrukwekkende natuurlijke spektakels langs de kustlijn van Cascais ontstaat.
Cascais markeert het laatste schilderachtige hoogtepunt van de tour. We maken een stop van 30 minuten in dit charmante kustplaatsje, zodat u tijd heeft voor een korte wandeling door het historische centrum, bladeren door lokale winkels en genieten van de sfeer aan zee in de buurt van de baai. Cascais staat bekend om zijn elegante charme, uitzicht op de oceaan en ontspannen levensstijl aan de kust en biedt een aangenaam afsluitingsmoment voor de terugreis naar Lissabon.

The tour is well planned and organized. Our guide, Leo (Leandro) was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. The tour allows you to see the fabulous palace of Pena and taste the charming town of Sintra. Cabo da Roca and Cascais are nice stops along the way. Overall, a good way to see what is outside Lisbon. We had a great day.

Sintra and Cascáis are such nice places to visit with breath taking views. Our guide Giovana is super great! She was helpful, showing us around and taking photos. She was also knowledgeable , explained us the history of different sites and places. We also particularly loved the restaurant and pastry place she recommended us, food and sweets were incredible!
