Lissabon's authentieke eet- en wijntour met een wijnmaker

Ben je klaar om de Portugese cultuur te ervaren door middel van heerlijke en traditionele gerechten gecombineerd met authentieke wijnen? Tussen het charmante stadscentrum en de oudste wijk van Lissabon, Alfama, heb ik een vreugdevol pad ontdekt dat ik niet kan wachten om met jullie te delen! Onze reis begint op het charmante Praça do Comercio: wandel en ontspan in een van Europa's meest historische "Café restaurante", opgericht in 1782! Proef verschillende Portugese wijnen uit verschillende regio's - zes in totaal tijdens onze tour (genoeg om het geluk hoog te houden!) - gecombineerd met 11 heerlijke petisco's. Je hoeft daarna niet meer te eten, dat garandeer ik! Bewonder de monumenten, omarm het Fado-erfgoed, bewonder de unieke azulejos, dwaal door betoverende steegjes en ontdek een traditionele "tasca" (door een familie gerunde taverne) die uw smaakpapillen zal prikkelen! Ik wil dat je je een local voelt, traditionele gerechten ervaart, authentieke wijnen die de kunst en cultuur raken, ontmoetingen met de mensen van de plaats, en natuurlijk... veel plezier hebben!

Onze eerste proeverij vindt plaats in het oude "Terreiro do Paço", waar we het oudste en beroemdste literaire café van de hoofdstad Martinho da Arcada (1782) vinden.
Als u uw verkenningstocht langs de Rua da Alfandega en de Largo do Chafariz de Dentro voortzet, kunt u ademen en de oude stad herbeleven met zijn monumenten, verhalen en steegjes in een van de meest authentieke buurten van Portugal.
Daarna gaan we naar een typisch Portugees eetcafé (tasca) genaamd A Muralha Vinhos e Tapas om de tweede proeverij te starten. Afbeeldingen en illustraties die kennis en geschiedenis kunnen overbrengen, zullen worden gebruikt om onze proeverij te ondersteunen.

Enrico provided a wonderful and informative tour. He brought us to places that we never would have found on our own. The personalized experience included going into a private room where he an I played a little bit of music together. The food was excellent and the wine was great. His RICO wine was among our favorites. We felt like we made a friend while we were in Lisbon and learned a lot about the area. Highly recommended.

Rico delivered an amazing enogastronomic experience!! We tasted authentic traditional dishes, enjoyed excellent portoguese wines (the Porto Quinta do Noval Tawny was outstanding) and learned so much thanks to his impressive cultural and historical knowledge. Rico was a fantastic host, we had the most amazing evening tasting great food & great wine. The second venue in particular was a perfect setting to see the night in and eat/drink whilst learning all about the history of wine. Rico spoke good English and could understand everything and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, friends, family, business trip, etc. - no caps on amount of wine, port, food, etc. - honestly could not fault the experience at all.
I highly recommend Rico's food and wine tour. My husband and I got to experience food that we would not have tried otherwise because of Rico's knowledge of the best of the local food products, and the wine pairings were all perfect. He was very informative about the local history of Lisbon as a whole and Alfama in particular. We ended up the evening watching a Fado performance and having a glass of Ginja and dessert. Rio was very generous with his time, and it was like being out for an evening with a friend. He was also very considerate of our dietary requests. Don't miss this tour if you're spending any time in Lisbon!
Wonderful walking tour of Lisbon. Excellent food and great company with Rico. He was excellent about explaining where we were and the history of what we were seeing and eating. Couldn't recommend him any more! 5 star!!
I had such a great experience and felt so privileged to have a wine tour with an actual wine maker. Enrico is so talented and knowledgeable. He’s also very kind and patient. I would love to do more of his tours and would absolutely recommend this food and wine tour.
We had a wonderful evening with Rico! He shared some wines that he made himself! The dishes they were paired with were amazing. It was so interesting to see how the wine enhanced or changed the flavor of the food we shared. We had a nice walk through Lisbon to taste a few wines and have some amazing food. We started as strangers and left as family.
