Ontdek de wonderen van de Portugese keuken tijdens onze award winnende Lissabon Food Tour door de Baixa District, de enige vlakke wijk van de stad en een levendig centrum van geschiedenis, smaak en cultuur. Met alles vooraf geregeld, sla je de wachtrijen over en duik je meteen in authentieke smaken terwijl je Expert lokale Gids je van de rivier de Taag leidt langs grote pleinen en langs bezienswaardigheden zoals Igreja de São Domingos, en het verhaal deelt van het “nieuwe Lissabon” dat na de aardbeving van 1755 werd herbouwd. Deze meeslepende tour neemt je mee naar gezellige tavernes, familie gerunde restaurants en populaire streetfood plekken. Onderweg geniet je van klassieke petisco's, verse visgerechten en iconische hapjes zoals de bifana, allemaal aangevuld met drankjes zoals Vinho Verde, lokaal bier en Ginjinha. En natuurlijk is geen foodtour compleet zonder een zoete lekkernij, een traditioneel Portugees dessert, de perfecte afsluiter voordat u uw avond vervolgt met mede-foodliefhebbers. Wandel door Baixa met uw Expert Gids naar een gezellige taverne beroemd om zijn smaakvolle Portugese petisco's. Hier kunt u genieten van favorieten zoals vers gegrilde chouriço en bacalhau à Brás, vergezeld van een perfect passende lokale wijn.
Vervolgens bezoeken we een traditioneel Portugees visrestaurant voor gegrilde sardines en troostende visrijst. En het beste deel? Geniet van alles met een verfrissend glas iconische Vinho Verde.
Verken na een maaltijd Portugese streetfood met de legendarische bifana, een malse steak sandwich gesudderd in knoflook en wijn. Zorg ervoor dat je ruimte overhoudt voor een knapperige coxinha of croqueta, het lekkerst met een ijskoud biertje.
We stoppen bij een historische likeurwinkel, opgericht in 1890, om de geliefde Ginjinha van Portugal te proeven, een zachte, zure kersenlikeur die perfect het podium vormt voor uw laatste zoete lekkernij.
Geen food tour is compleet zonder DEssert, sluit af met Portugal’s iconische pastel de nata, een gouden, vlokkige taart die gewoon onvergetelijk is.

We had an amazing food tour with Anna Sophia! She was very patient as we had our twin 3 year old girls with us. There was plenty of food. I was offered plenty of non alcoholic substitute drinks as I was not drinking any of the wine or beer offered. Would definitely recommend.
