Met alles vooraf geregeld, sla je de wachtrijen over en duik je meteen in authentieke smaken terwijl je Expert lokale Gids je van de rivier de Taag leidt langs grote pleinen en historische bezienswaardigheden zoals de Igreja do Santo Domingo, terwijl je het verhaal deelt van het “nieuwe Lissabon” dat na de aardbeving van 1755 is herbouwd. Volg uw deskundige gids door Baixa naar een gezellige taverne gespecialiseerd in Portugese petisco's vol smaak. Hier proef je favorieten als vers gegrilde chouriço en bacalhau à Brás, perfect gecombineerd met lokale wijn.
Vervolgens stoppen we bij een traditioneel Portugees visrestaurant voor gegrilde sardines en visrijst. Het beste deel? Je spoelt het allemaal weg met een glas van de iconische Vinho Verde.
Duik na een maaltijd in het Portugese streetfood met de iconische bifana, een broodje knoflook en wijn. Houd ruimte over voor een knapperige coxinha of croqueta, het lekkerst met een ijskoud biertje.
We stoppen bij een historische drankwinkel uit 1890 om Portugals geliefde Ginjinha te proberen, een zure kersenlikeur die je smaakpapillen perfect voorbereidt op de laatste zoete lekkernij.

This was an incredible tour. Rodrigo, our guide, was knowledgeable, interesting and enthusiastic. He was great. The amount and variety of food we received was outstanding. I think everyone left stuffed, and we got to have many Portuguese specialties. I highly recommend this excellent tour. I take food tours pretty much everywhere I travel and this is one of the best I’ve ever done because of the guide and restaurants selected.
