This is the most amazing tour I have ever been in a while. Our guide tour was so nice, polite and knew so much about Cascais and the history of Portugal in general that I really felt I was entering a different world. Cascais is beautiful and at night is magical. It is the Portuguese Rivera and there is a whole story behind it. This tour was worth every penny and more. Our tour guide came and picked us at our hotel, he introduced himself, always kind and from the start he started telling us the story about Cascais and Portugal, but in a really fun and interesting way. Even though I was a bit tired from walking all day, this tour was literally the highlight of my trip. We drove by the beautiful coastline, we arrived at Cascais and he gave us the tour and gave us the option to explore on our own. We did for a bit, but we quickly continue with him, we walked around the area and it was just so interesting, we learned about history, fun facts, but in a fun way. I could go on and on of why this tour at night is a must see, but you have to experience it in your own. Thank you to our amazing guide, thank you for being so kind and thank you for offering the only night tour there is for Cascais. We loved it!
This is also a special one. In this Atlantic bay, corner of Portugal and Europe, that saw arrive people from all over Europe, from a wide range of different societies, whose decedents are now in the new world, you dint expect to find Mr. James bond, did you? Don’t tell the British. Besides Lisbon, Cascais is probably the most significant international part of Portugal and its history. Thank you so much for the opportunity to remind us of that.
