Ervaar het beste van Lima in een enkele dag terwijl we de meest iconische wijken en bezienswaardigheden van de stad verkennen. Miraflores : Ontdek het romantische Love Park en de oude archeologische vindplaats Huaca Pucllana. Barranco : Dwaal door de bohemienwijk van Lima, gevuld met levendige muurschilderingen, kunstgalerijen en de beroemde Brug der Zuchten. San Isidro : Wandel door het serene Olive Grove Park, een prachtige groene ruimte met eeuwenoude olijfbomen. Historisch centrum : Bewonder de koloniale schatten van Lima, waaronder het centrale plein, het San Martínplein en het San Francisco Catacombenmuseum. Geniet van een volledige dag waarin u de geschiedenis, kunst en cultuur ontdekt die Lima tot een van de meest fascinerende hoofdsteden van Zuid-Amerika maken. Onze eerste stop is het charmante Love Park, een romantische plek die in 1993 werd ingehuldigd. Het middelpunt, “The Kiss”, een prachtig werk van de beroemde kunstenaar Víctor Delfín, portretteert twee geliefden die een eindeloze omhelzing delen — een waar symbool van passie en verbondenheid in Lima.
We gaan verder naar Huaca Pucllana, een buitengewone pre-Inca archeologische site die dateert uit 200-700 na Christus. Deze adobe piramide was een belangrijk religieus en politiek complex voor de Lima beschaving. Houd er rekening mee dat het bezoek panoramisch is — we observeren de site alleen van buitenaf.
Onze volgende stop is het Olive Park, een serene groene ruimte die honderden olijfbomen bewaart die eeuwen geleden zijn geplant. Hier vindt u ook tentoonstellingen van traditionele olijfolie machines, evenals een rustige vijver met vissen en schildpadden, het creëren van de perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de natuur.
Onze volgende stop is Barranco, het meest kleurrijke en artistieke gebied van de stad, waar elke muur een verhaal vertelt door middel van prachtige muurschilderingen en street art. Ervaar de trendy, bohemien vibe en neem even de tijd om een wens te doen bij de Brug der Zuchten, een van Lima's meest romantische bezienswaardigheden. LUNCH : om 12.00 uur is er een pauze van 1 uur en 30 minuten zodat u kunt lunchen. Wij zullen u een aantal goede lokale restaurants aanbevelen.
In het tweede deel van de tour bezoeken we het San Martínplein, gebouwd in de vroege jaren 1900 om 100 jaar onafhankelijkheid van Peru te herdenken. Omgeven door elegante neoklassieke gebouwen, staat dit plein als een van Lima's mooiste bezienswaardigheden en een symbool van de architectonische pracht van de stad.
Daarna gaan we naar Lima’s Main Square, het meest iconische en historisch belangrijke plein in Peru. Hier kunt u opmerkelijke bezienswaardigheden bewonderen, zoals het presidentieel paleis, het stadhuis van Lima, de kathedraal en het elegante aartsbisschoppelijk paleis, die allemaal de grandeur van de koloniale architectuur van Lima laten zien.
Tot slot bezoeken we een van de meest fascinerende musea in het centrum van Lima, waar uw Expert Gids inzichten zal delen in de rijke geschiedenis van de hoofdstad van Peru. Het hoogtepunt van dit bezoek is het verkennen van de ondergrondse catacomben, een indrukwekkend netwerk van tunnels en kamers die een boeiende blik in het koloniale verleden van Lima onthullen.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen en afzetten zijn alleen inbegrepen bij : Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro of Lima Center. Als u buiten deze gebieden verblijft, bieden wij u een ontmoetingspunt in de wijk Miraflores om de tour te beginnen. Geen luchthaven of Port (Callao gebied) pick-up / drop off inbegrepen. Last Minute Boekingen of wijzigingen : Als u last minute boekt, is het belangrijk om contact met ons op te nemen nadat uw reservering is gedaan, zodat we op tijd op de hoogte kunnen worden gebracht.

We had a great day out with Sandy. She was so kind and informative. We walked the Barranco area, saw lots of cool murals and local art, strolled through beautiful parks, learned a lot about the history of Peru and got to see a beautiful corner of this sprawling metropolis. If you are looking for a good way to get an overview of Lima and spend time with some wonderful locals, this is the tour for you!

The tour is valid for the morning part in the old town while the afternoon part of Barranco absolutely without any added value.

A super interesting tour. A super comfortable way to see all the neighborhoods of Lima that you have to see, they take you with the private van in a super small group and explain all the beautiful places in the area. Sandy is super nice and makes the tour super enjoyable and interesting. It also helps a lot with tips for your stay in Peru. I recommend 100%.

I use a lot of tours with a guide all over the world. Alexandra is the best tour guide I have ever had. She is very friendly, kind and has excellent conversation skills. Her attention to details is impeccable. She is the only tour guide with whom I honestly retained all the information that she shared. I wish I had more trips with her is Peru. Jimmy - our driver was very good and a safe driver. The tour itinerary is good. We were not rushed, had ample time to see places and have questions. It was small group of 5 which was amazing!

Lima Highlights Tours provided an exceptional full day tour of Lima. We were short on time and this tour hit the main areas to see. Our guide, Martin, was professional and very knowledgeable about Lima and Peru. A great way to get introduced to Lima and Peru. A van picked us up and dropped us off at your hotel, which was nice as Lima's traffic is hectic.
