Begin je reis bij Pachacamac, een oude Inca en pre-Inca archeologische site die een kijkje biedt in de spirituele en architectonische erfenis van vroege Peruaanse beschavingen. Ga verder naar het historische centrum van Lima, dat op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat, waar u prachtige koloniale bezienswaardigheden kunt bewonderen, zoals het San Martínplein, het Plaza de Armas, de kathedraal, het stadhuis en het presidentieel paleis. Tenslotte bezoekt u het San Francisco Monastery and Museum, inclusief de beroemde ondergrondse catacomben, een waar hoogtepunt van de stad. Deze site was een van de belangrijkste religieuze centra van de Incaperiode langs de kust van Peru. Het beschikt over een buitengewoon complex van tempels en structuren gebouwd door verschillende pre-Inca culturen die dateren uit ongeveer 200 na Christus. Later bouwden de Inca's hier majestueuze piramides ter ere van de zon. Bezoekers kunnen de opmerkelijke architectonische precisie van de site waarderen terwijl ze de gebruiken, overtuigingen en tradities verkennen die de oude beschavingen van Peru hebben gevormd. LUNCH : om 12.00 uur is er een pauze van 1 uur en 30 minuten zodat u kunt lunchen. Wij zullen u een aantal goede lokale restaurants aanbevelen.
In het tweede deel van de tour bezoeken we dit historische plein, gebouwd in de vroege jaren 1900 om de honderdste verjaardag van de onafhankelijkheid van Peru te herdenken. De omliggende gebouwen zijn prachtige voorbeelden van neoklassieke architectuur, die de elegantie en grandeur van die tijd weerspiegelen.
Vervolgens bezoeken we de Grote Markt, het meest iconische en representatieve plein in Peru. Hier kunt u opmerkelijke historische bezienswaardigheden bewonderen, zoals het presidentieel paleis, het stadhuis en de kathedraal van Lima, onder anderen. Uw Expert Gids zal fascinerende inzichten delen in de rijke geschiedenis en het culturele erfgoed van de hoofdstad van Peru.
We nemen je vervolgens mee naar een van de meest fascinerende musea in het centrum van Lima, waar je een dieper inzicht krijgt in het koloniale tijdperk van Peru. Verken de mysterieuze ondergrondse catacomben en ontdek de boeiende verhalen die onder deze historische site liggen.

Ophalen en afzetten zijn alleen inbegrepen bij : Miraflores, Barranco, San Isidro of Lima Center. Als u buiten deze gebieden verblijft, bieden wij u een ontmoetingspunt in de wijk Miraflores om de tour te beginnen. Geen luchthaven of Port (Callao gebied) pick-up / drop off inbegrepen. Last Minute Boekingen of wijzigingen : Als u last minute boekt, is het belangrijk om contact met ons op te nemen nadat uw reservering is gedaan, zodat we op tijd op de hoogte kunnen worden gebracht.

We had such a great day exploring Lima with Sandy! This tour is packed with variety—you really get to see so many different sides of the city. We happened to go the day before Independence Day, so the streets were bustling with energy and very crowded, but Sandy handled everything like a pro. She made sure we stayed on track, comfortable, and still got the full experience without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. She even recommended a fantastic spot for lunch that we absolutely loved. Our guide Jonathan was thorough, patient with our questions (we asked a lot 🙂), and well informed about the history of Lima. Our tour group only consisted of me and my friend as it is a slow season. It was better this way in my opinion. You could feel Jonathan’s passion for history, and pride for his countryman throughout the tour.. Recommend 12/10!
