We halen u op bij uw hotel om naar het historische centrum te gaan, waar we onze wandeling beginnen en de eerste stop is Central Market waar we meer te weten komen over de lokale cultuur van onze mensen. Na de markt gaan we naar de grootste kerk van Lima, San Franciscus van Assisi waar we de spookachtige Catacomben gaan verkennen. Daarna zijn we door veel populaire straten gaan lopen waar we het contrast kunnen zien tussen koloniale kerken, herenhuizen, balkons en moderne winkels tot aan het centrale plein van Lima. Eindig de tour op San Martín Plaza, waar we de onafhankelijkheid van Perú in 1821 herdenken.

We had some time to kill before our flight and booked on short notice. Our guide Cloudia was great! A private tour is the way to go. Highly recommend

This was a bilingual tour. The guide Klaudia spoke good English and provided good information. We went to the Mercado and it was interesting to see local fruits and vegetables. She introduced us to the chirimoya fruit which we got to taste. The visit to the catacombs was a little morbid, but interesting. Centre of Lima has several beautiful buildings and churches. All in all was a good tour, giving a quick overview of Lima.
It was a small group so it felt like a private tour. Claudia was knowledgeable and shared lots of good and helpful information to us.
Fantastic tour of Lima if you have a couple of hours to spare. We were really immersed into the history of the historic quarter of Lima. Our guide Klaudia absolutely made it, she was fantastic. Her knowledge of everything from Peru’s history and population, to the weather, the catholic church and even Pisco sours was impressive.
The guide is excellent, has extensive knowledge of the history, and the tour is very enjoyable.
