Een kleurrijke en smakelijke tour rond Levinsky markt. Levinsky markt, genoemd naar de Joodse Russische auteur Elhanan Leib Levinsky, werd gebouwd als handelscentrum voor de inwoners van de nieuwe stad Tel Aviv. Bulgaarse, Bukharan, Perzische, Balkan, Poolse en Noord-Afrikaanse nieuwkomers gemengd om de rijke en unieke mix van specerijen en delicatessen die de markt die we vandaag kennen en van houden te creëren. In de loop der jaren is deze markt veranderd van een kruidengroothandelscentrum naar een levendige, bruisende markt met winkels en restaurants van hoge kwaliteit met een verscheidenheid aan smaken en culturen. Samen toeren we de markt af en proeven we verschillende lekkernijen. Dit is een gemakkelijke wandeltocht geschikt voor alle leeftijden. Wandelschoenen, een hoed en water worden aanbevolen. Let op - De tour is onder voorbehoud van een minimum van 6 geregistreerde deelnemers.

the tour was so varied with the stopping and eating points. it was fun, friendly and interesting. there was loads to eat and water, forks, serviettes, hand gel were thoughtfully supplied. it felt that the company’s main goal was to provide a really enjoyable and informative experience for our group. our guide Shir had brilliant command of english and provided an insight on culture, history, literature and of course, food. we were pretty full by the end. thoroughly recommended.
This was a great experience. The five of us have a cooking group so was fun to experience together! Roey was a great guide and most of the food was delicious! He was very informative! I would recommend that he supply water to the people. The precious guide , Jan took water, cups, wet wipes and napkins and it was needed and most appreciated!

We had a great tour of the Levinsky market led by Shai. He took us to many shops owned by third generation families. We learned some history of the market, which is very pleasant and much more open than the Carmel market and had some delicious tastings. There are some fabulous spice stores there as well.
It was a hot day, but we did the entire tour, stopped in interesting places (and very tasety), learned a lot from our guid (Shai). It is a great way to learn about the history, architecture an cusine of this place.
