We did this tour with Banele from Stephenson Adventures at the end of our time in South Africa; I wish we would have started with it! The time in the cultural village was amazing! We learned about the different tribes of SA, had a drum lesson and watched the most amazing dances! Banele sat with us during lunch and answered many more questions. He’s a great guide, so attentive and helpful!

We loved this experience. We booked through Viator but ultimately Stephenson adventures supplied the trip. Steve was a very good communicator We had a comfortable vehicle with Banele who was also a delight. We walked through each area and leaned about the tribes of S. Africa. Then we had an “African” lunch. A very nice day.

Had a great time at Lesedi Cultural Village. We were picked up from our accommodation by John, our guide, who was great. He was very friendly and gave us lots of information en route to the village. At the village he accompanied us throughout our visit ensuring we didn't miss anything. We were greeted with a lovely musical welcome. The drumming interaction was great and we had a guide who showed and explained about 5 different tribes. We were then given a great African drumming and dance show. After this we had lunch which was an amazing buffet. We were then driven back to our accommodation by John. We had a lovely experience and couldn't thank John enough who was an amazing guide.

This is a "must" for anyone who truly wants to understand the cultural history of South African native tribes. They present their history and culture through vocal presentations, physical "villages", dress, singing, and dance, followed by a very good lunch. We were enthralled and rate this one of our best experiences in the country.

Steve was an excellent guide. Very informative and easy to talk to during the drive to and from the village. The village itself was a rich experience and I felt a good use of the one day I had to spend in the area.

Great trip to lesedi cultural village. An amazing introduction to the native tribes and some of their traditions. My guide Mo picked me up at my hotel where he also delivered me back😀 he gave me a great insight into SA during our drive and made me feel welcomed

Visiting Lesedi is always a great experience. I can reccomend this place to every newcomer to South Africa. This was my second visit to the village. Our tour guide Mo has taken good care of us. What puts him personally apart from other tour guides is that he has this attention to detail. Based on his years of experience he anticipates where and when you should be/stand/queue in a given moment to get the best experience and so was also this time. It was our second tour with Mo. Unfortunately, Steve, the owner of the company, will not schedule him for every tour you can book with Stepehenson Adventures :-) So book early in advance
