Livraria Lello (voorheen Livraria Chardron, 1869-1919) is een Portugese boekhandel en uitgeverij waarvan het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd aan de Rua das Carmelitas 144, in het historische centrum van Porto. Livraria Lello is geklasseerd als een Monument van Openbaar Belang en in het proces om een Nationaal Monument te worden, behoudt de oorspronkelijke schoonheid van het gebouw.
Het Palácio da Bolsa, of Palácio da Associação Comercial do Porto, een neoklassiek gebouw, begon te worden gebouwd op 6 oktober 1842, de plechtige datum van de eerste steenlegging, gezien de sluiting van het Casa da Bolsa do Comércio, waardoor Portugese handelaren hun bedrijf in de open lucht moesten bespreken.
De kathedraal van Porto is een romaans-gotisch gebouw uit de 12e en 13e eeuw, dat in de barok (17e-18e eeuw) ingrijpende renovaties onderging. Van binnen heeft het nog steeds het uiterlijk van een vestingkerk, met kantelen. Bijzonder is het prachtige roosvenster (12e eeuw) en de loggia of zijgalilea (1736), het werk van Nicolau Nasoni, met uitzicht op de stad. Naast de deuren staan monumentale wijwaterlettertypen uit de late 17e eeuw. Naast het 17e eeuwse doopvont is er een bas-reliëf van Teixeira Lopes (Vader).

We enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour of Porto. I highly recommend taking the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we learned so much about the area and the history that you could not learn but walking around on your own. It was a lovely experience. It was just my fiancé and I, so it was pretty much like a private tour. Our tour guide Luiz was amazing. He was very informative and also gave us some food and restaurant recommendations. I would high recommend booking a tour with him. And I highly suggest to go with a tour guide to see these sights as there are no boards that tell you the history or information of the church, stock exchange, and book store. Hope this helps.
