Dit is onze ontmoetingsplaats, naast de fontein van Amerling, het meer exacte adres is Brsalje 2, in de buurt van de cadeauwinkel van Dubravka. Nadat we samen zijn gekomen, beginnen we met de rondleiding.
Voordat we naar het magnifieke fort van St. Lawrence stijgen, krijgt u scènes te zien die aan de voet van het fort zijn genomen. Lovrijenac was de glorieuze Red Keep in Game of Thrones, het is een van de grootste hoogtepunten van de tour vanwaar je een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad hebt, ideale plek voor adembenemende foto's. Houd er rekening mee dat er enkele trappen naar de top moeten worden genomen, maar de gids zal je niet opjagen, het tempo van de tour is ontspannen, maar als je op enig moment het gevoel hebt dat je niet naar de top kunt klimmen, laat de gids weten, zodat u zich later met de groep kunt verheugen. Voor toegang tot het fort geldt een toeslag.
Onze verbazingwekkende oude stad werd gebruikt als King's Landing, daarom zijn er veel scènes te ontdekken in de straten van Dubrovnik. Misschien zult u versteld staan van het aantal locaties dat wordt gebruikt voor het filmen!
Dit was de stad Qarth, Lokrum is ook de thuisbasis van GoT Visitor Centre, waar de ijzeren troon zijn thuis vond. Een geweldige manier om de tour in te pakken met een foto uit de Iron Throne van het HBO :) je kunt achteraf op het eiland blijven zolang je wilt, je kunt ook zwemmen, neem in dat geval je zwemkleding mee met u. Er zijn twee restaurants en een snackbar. Houd in gedachten om te controleren wanneer de laatste boot vertrekt, want er zijn geen overnachtingen op Lokrum.

The tour description said nothing about >180 stairs to reach the fort, 2 people in our party weren't able to complete the entire tour because of the stairs and amount of walking. We have used Viator for multiple tours for several years and requested a refund for 2, not the entire group of 4, Viator refused, extremely disappointed. Our tour guide was wonderful and expressed her concern that the description did not mention the number of stairs and the amount of walking involved.
Hello Vicki_H, We're sorry your experience didn't fully meet your expectation. You did book the walking tour and the tour description mentions that includes the fort so climbing is somewhat expected. Also, the whole Dubrovnik involves many stairs , so if you go off the main streets, you'll encounter quite a few steps. Femi was a wonderful tour guide! Her being a local and also working as an extra on GOT really sets her apart from other guides. We got to take a route that showed the best of Dubrovnik. Our family has been looking forward to this tour for almost a year. The pressure was on….but Roko, our tour guide did not disappoint . Wonderfully organized, and eloquently given— all expectations met! Roko provided all the Game of thrones info , but also some local stories and history.

Our guide was amazing - was making the experience fun and interactive. We loved the Shame stairs. And having the scenes to go along with the sites made it all relatable. The only thing that went wrong is that we ended up with just the GOT tour, had to do Lokrum by ourselves.!

They sell online tickets for the tours that are sold out for the day and then say they will refund you. I am stil waiting for the refund. Avoid at all costs!

Fabulous tour! We loved the mixture of GOT and the history of Dubrovnik. The guide was excellent - a truly local Croatian who had been an extra on the show and could speak in depth about the experience. Would highly recommend.
Roko was absolutely excellent. He really made everything from the GOT locations to the history of Dubrovnik very interesting and entertaining. He was a lovely person as well, very attentiveto everyones needs and quite funny. Lokrum was an excellent part of the tour as well. Great guide, great tour.
Darko was one of the best guides we've ever found. Very cheerful, interacting with the group and sharing many events and curiosities of the series with a lot of humor. We managed to cut paths and escape the big groups at the photo points. All fantastic, 10/10!
My wife and I did this excursion during our honeymoon in Croatia. It was one of our favorite moments in Dubrovnik. Our guide was phenomenal - very personable, and having acted as an extra on Game of Thrones was very knowledgeable. It felt like you were spending the day with a super-fan, not just a tour guide. Our guide also taught us a lot of the history of Dubrovnik outside of Game of Thrones. The trip to Lokrum Island is a huge plus - make sure to bring a bathing suit and spend some time after the tour is over! Highly recommend!
