Terwijl we door de straten van ons charmante stadje slenteren, nemen we je mee terug in de tijd om de rijke geschiedenis te ontdekken die de identiteit van Leavenworth vandaag heeft gevormd. Onderweg heb je ook de mogelijkheid om te stoppen bij drie van onze beste wijnmakerijen, waar je enkele van de lokale wijnen kunt proeven en meer te weten kunt komen over de wijnbouw van onze regio. Deze historische wandeltocht door Leavenworth met stops bij onze favoriete wijnmakerijen is een geweldige manier om de rijke geschiedenis en unieke cultuur van de stad te ervaren en tegelijkertijd te genieten van enkele van de heerlijkste wijnen uit de regio. Dus pak een paar comfortabele wandelschoenen en ga met ons mee op een reis terug in de tijd!

We laten je kennismaken met de spannende geschiedenis van de stad Leavenworth, WA.
Bij onze eerste stop zullen we genieten van een wijnproeverij bij Water From Wine, een wijnmakerij zonder winstoogmerk die alle opbrengsten schenkt aan het verstrekken van schoon water aan mensen in nood.
Bij onze tweede stop zullen onze gasten genieten van een heerlijke wijnproeverij bij Ryan Patrick.
We stoppen hier voor een heerlijke wijnproeverij en leren over de geschiedenis van de Obelisco Winery.

The tour guide was great, Tom but I feel like this is overpriced for what it is. Leavenworth is really small so, it is short and there is not much that is learned. The wine tasting can be done your own and pay less. This is a town that taking an official tour of just doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Debbie, I am sorry to hear that you didn't feel as though you learned anything during your Sip and Stroll Tour in Leavenworth! Especially after you and your husband enjoyed a private tour where I (Tom) explained in detail over 200 years of Leavenworth history and the Viticulture of Washington. Also, just to be clear for future travelers, we have very generous partnerships with our wine tasting rooms and it is actually LESS expensive to do our tour than it is to visit three wine tasting rooms on your own. I hope you did enjoy all of the local recommendations that I provided and the wine that you purchased at the wineries we visited (at a tour discount.)

Tom was an excellent tour guide. He took us on an adventure through downtown Leavenworth providing us with the history of the town and recommendations on what to check out and grab a bite. The three wineries we stopped in were also great and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend doing this tour.

Great tour. Learned a lot about Leavenworth. Tom, the tour guide, made it fun and informative. We’d been to Leavenworth before and this tour gave us information we’d always wondered about the town. Wineries were fun. It was a great way to meet some folks when we were here by ourselves. Next time we come to town we’ll do it again but with the beer tasting.
