Je zult natuurlijk enkele beroemde bezienswaardigheden ontdekken, zoals het Pantheon of de Jardin du Luxembourg, maar ook enkele minder toeristische delen van deze geweldige buurt, zoals Collège des Bernardins of Arènes de Lutèce. De Arènes de Lutèce is het oudste monument dat in Parijs is gebouwd en nog gedeeltelijk bestaat. Het is gebouwd in de 1e eeuw na Christus. Deze arena bood plaats aan 17.000 mensen en werd gebruikt als theater, maar ook als amfitheater voor gladiatorengevechten.
Het Collège van Bernardins is een voormalig Cisterciënzer college van de Universiteit van Parijs. Het is ook een van de grootste en oudste middeleeuwse gebouwen in Parijs. Dit college, opgericht in de 13e eeuw, had als doel jonge monniken te verwelkomen en op te leiden. Ontworpen om een paar studenten te huisvesten, zal dit college tussen de 13e en 15e eeuw duizenden monniken uit heel Europa opleiden.
De kerk Saint-Étienne-du-Mont is gelegen aan de Montagne Sainte-Geneviève. Het heiligdom van Geneviève, de patroonheilige van Parijs, bevindt zich in de kerk.
Het Pantheon is misschien wel het grootste monument van het Quartier Latin. Gebouwd als een kerk, maar omgebouwd tot een mausoleum voor de overblijfselen van vooraanstaande Fransen
Dit is een typisch Frans plein omringd door cafés.
De Fontaine Saint Michel is een heel mooie fontein gebouwd in 1860.
De Jardin du Luxembourg is gewoon een van de beste tuinen in Parijs. Het werd opgericht in 1612 door Marie de Medicis, de weduwe van koning Henry IV van Frankrijk De tuin is tegenwoordig in handen van de Franse senaat.

De Medici-fontein is een fontein in de Jardin du Luxembourg. Het werd gebouwd in 1630 door Marie de Medicis. Het is gerenoveerd en herbouwd in 1866. Dit is een van de mooiste fontein in Parijs, waar Victor Hugo inspiratie opdeed.

The tour was really interesting and informative; Quentin was really nice and it was easy to communicate with him. I already knew Paris pretty well but Quentin guided us to so many hidden places and told us a lot of fascinating anecdotes that i came away with an even richer vision of this beautiful city. We did this family tour and it was a great experience. The Quentin guide, in addition to being flexible, is particularly friendly and adapts to the different people present. My parents also enjoyed it very much.
