Wanneer u een rondleiding door LARK Distillery neemt, wandelt u door zorgvuldig gerestaureerde historische gebouwen en verkent u ons werkende whiskydorp - het iconische huis van Australië's nr. 1 luxe single Malt Whisky Distillery. Op dit leuke en informatieve whisky-avontuur duik je een beetje dieper in de kunst en wetenschap van whisky en ontdek je enkele geheimen om echt geweldige single malt-whisky te maken. Tijdens een bezoek aan onze site hoort u verhalen over wat ons proces uniek maakt, enkele van de mensen die LARK hebben gemaakt tot wat het nu is, en over het unieke eiland Tasmanië dat het allemaal mogelijk heeft gemaakt.

Welkom bij LARK Distillery, Tasmanië's oudste single malt whisky distilleerderij! Gelegen tussen zorgvuldig gerestaureerde historische gebouwen, ligt ons werkende whiskydorp en de iconische thuisbasis van Australië's nr. 1 luxe whisky. Dit 40 hectare grote pand heeft gebouwen die dateren uit 1822, een gratis interpretatieve installatie in de historische stallen die de geschiedenis van de site verkent, evenals het verhaal van LARK en de Tasmaanse distilleerindustrie, een werkende distilleerderij en cooperage, evenals een kelderdeur en proeflokaal. Of u nu een rondleiding volgt of met ons meegaat voor een proeverij, een bezoek aan LARK distilleerderij in Pontville is een leuk en informatief whisky-avontuur.

This tour isn't just about making Whisky. Its about the history of the location, the journey of Bill and Lyn Lark and how they changed the course of Australia Whisky forever. Very generous tastings and the bar at the end is hard to walk away from! Recommended for anyone who wants to learn about Whisky.
We went on a tour run by Gui on New Years Eve. It was fun, interactive and informative. He certainly knows his craft, and clearly has a passion for Lark and all it represents. The tour includes a couple of drinks while being escorted around the grounds of an 1840 something estate. Well worth the visit, 5 stars for Gui and Lark.
Amazing knowledge and experience from the staff. Incredible learning all a out the unique history of the distillery and founders of Lark.
I’ve drink quite a lot of Lark over the years, so was definitely not going to miss coming for the tour when visiting Hobart. Staff were great, allowed our teens to chill in the cellar door while my wife and I did the tasting and tour. Cellar door wasn’t packed, might have been different otherwise. Excellent hour tasting/tour, Hannah took us around and was happy to answer any and all questions. Got to sample Classic Lark, Classic Lark direct from a cask in the ‘Cooperage’ and the Xmas special to finish off. 10% cellar door purchases post tour, sampled and purchased a bottle of Dark Lark which I would recommend. Great experience, really enjoyed it. Could the cellar door be enhanced by some local cheese/cheese board or chocolate/fruit platters available for purchase as well?
We were fortunate to arrive at the Lark Distillery just as a tour started. Tom, our guide was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable, friendly bloke and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The whiskey tasting was delicious 😋 Tom is worth every dollar of this tour! We highly recommend it.
An absolute amazing day with our guide Tom to share his love and knowledge of Lark’s gorgeous whiskey it has to offer. Tom took us on a journey throughout the property and showed us the ins and outs of what it is to make whiskey at Lark. If you coming to Tasmania please this is must to add onto your bucket list. I visited whilst on holiday in Tasmania and was not disappointed. The Staff and Guides were very informative about telling the story of Lark Distilling not just from the start of its Distilling History, but the History of the Culture and people who inherited and inhibited the land. A great tour highlighting the Grain to Glass perspective of what it takes to make a good Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky, through tastings as you are guided through the Process and Production. Highly recommend the Dark Lark for its Smooth Flavor.
Very fun guide and great tasting! Worth the visit. Not impossible to get to, caught a bus then an uber so if you dont have a car, no worries.
Was an amazing tour led by Gui! Learnt a lot about lark history and the distilling process, as well as taste some of their fantastic whiskeys!
