Bezoek acht eilanden in de Langkawi-archipel op een jetski. In een kleine groep volgt u een ervaren gids langs de kust naar Pulau Dayang Bunting (Eiland van de zwangere vrouw) voor een korte wandeling door de jungle en een duik in het grootste zoetwatermeer van Maleisië. Geniet van het prachtige landschap van fjorden met uitstekende rotsen, kijk naar de adelaars in de lucht en stop om te snorkelen in het rustige turquoise water van de Andamanse Zee. Kies uit vertrek 's morgens of 's middags en of u alleen of met zijn tweeën op een jetski wilt. Deze tour is voor maximaal 8 personen, zodat u persoonlijke aandacht krijgt.

Kies een vertrektijd in de ochtend of middag en ontmoet uw kleine groep op een aangewezen plek op Cenang Beach. Na een veiligheidsbriefing en instructie over het bedienen van je jetski, spring je aan boord en volg je een ervaren gids die je konvooi over de rustige wateren van de Andamanse Zee naar acht eilanden in de Langkawi-archipel leidt. U kunt solo of dubbel met een partner rijden, afhankelijk van de optie die u tijdens het boeken selecteert. Na een korte stop op Tepur Island voor inchecken en wat advies van je gids over rijden in formatie, ga je verder naar het op een na grootste eiland van de regio en zijn topattractie: Dayang Bunting Island. Kom aan bij het uitkijkpunt voor een glimp van het silhouet van het zwangere meisje waarnaar het eiland is vernoemd, gevormd door de omtrek van heuvels en rotspartijen aan een kant van Dayang Bunting Lake - het grootste zoetwatermeer in Maleisië.
Als het tijd is, stapt u weer op uw jetski en vaart u naar de fjorden, een cluster van met jungle begroeide eilanden op ongeveer een zeemijl (2 km) afstand. Scheer over het kristalheldere water tussen rotsachtige eilandjes en geheime baaien om bij een andere duikwaardige plek te komen waar je wordt omringd door 360 graden uitzicht op jungle-terrein. Vang de adembenemende aanblik van adelaars die boven je hoofd zweven terwijl je gids de flora en fauna beschrijft. Een paddenstoelvormig eiland, kalksteenstructuren, stalactieten, mangroven en andere vegetatie die uniek is voor Langkawi behoren tot de geologische en biologische wonderen waar je meer over te weten zult komen.
Voordat je terugrijdt naar het startpunt, stop je bij een onbekend eiland voor een korte duik- en snorkelsessie (afhankelijk van de wateromstandigheden) om je jetski-avontuur van een halve dag af te sluiten.

misunderstood the signal for stopping the jet ski and thought I was supposed to press both levers. I wish this had been explained more clearly. I also wanted to know how to make a U-turn properly. At places like the monkey hill, I wasn’t sure how much time we were supposed to spend there, so I would have appreciated some guidance on the timing. However, the four hours flew by, and I had a lot of fun. I also liked that the group was small.

If you're thinking about doing a jet ski tour in Langkawi, there are loads of companies to choose from. But if you're reading this, stop looking and book with Mega Water Sports. We did the 4-hour tour around Langkawi and some of the surrounding islands, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The scenery was incredible, but what really made the experience was our guide, Shadow. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He shared loads of interesting information throughout the tour and made the whole experience really fun. One thing that really stuck with us was seeing him picking up plastic that had washed up on one of the beaches while we stopped. It wasn't something he had to do, but it showed how much he cares about Langkawi and keeping it beautiful. A big thank you to Hussein as well. I'd accidentally booked our tour for the wrong date and only realised at 11:30 the night before. I sent a message hoping there might be something they could do, and Hussein replied almost straight away and sorted everything out for us. We really appreciated it. If we're lucky enough to come back to Langkawi, we'd book with Mega Water Sports again without a second thought. A fantastic day out and worth every penny.

It’s the low season so I was lucky to have a private tour. Shadow was kind, patient and informative. The team runs a very organized business. He knew it was my first time on a jet ski and made sure I felt comfortable. He was communicative and constantly checked in. We visited a couple of islands to swim and a few others for sight seeing. You can tell he really loves the ocean and has a lot of knowledge about the islands. It was a great experience!
I took my wife and daughters on the island hopping jet ski tour. I had never been on a jet ski before and the whole experience was excellent. Seeing the beautiful islands by Jet ski was perfect. My youngest daughter was nervous about heading out and got quite upset. Our guide, Shadow, was patient and kind and my daughter was reassured to come along. She had a great time and it did not take long before she was asking me to go faster! Shadow and his team, which includes his son who gave us the safety briefing, were excellent hosts and guides. They are careful and understanding and it is obvious that our safety was their highest priority with fun a close second. I highly recommend even if you are a first timer.
Enjoyable riding the jet ski and the guide was very capable. The lake and sound stop were good but didn’t find the beach that appealing. Finished half an hour early so didn’t feel like it was full value costing a star. The islands themselves are glorious.
Excellent tour! Shadow was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided a perfect balance between showing us wildlife, scenery, and having fun. Please be aware, single jet-skiing is more pleasurable for all. Would definitely recommend. Better way to experience the islands than being on a boat trip.
The whole experience was great! We showed up a day early accidentally and they were able to accommodate us. Shadow was an awesome guide and we really loved exploring the islands with him sharing the history of the land.
We had a wonderful time on our 4hr jet ski tour to Langkawi’s off shore islands! Our kids - ages 14 & 16- drove the 2 jet skis with a parent behind each. They loved the driving and jumping over waves. Once you get between the islands, the bumps smooth out and the ride is so smooth. We saw a lot of eagles, visited a private beach and the largest drag water lake on Langkawi at Dayang Bunting. This was the highlight of our trip! Our guide - Adib - was great!
