De spectaculaire tocht door het populaire hoogland in Landmannalaugar biedt voor elk wat wils. De natuur is rauw en ongerept in het unieke landschap. Wandel over paden door oude lavavelden en veelkleurige ryolietheuvels, baad in natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen en zie verbazingwekkende geologische wonderen zoals de Hjálparafoss-waterval en het vulkanische kratermeer Hnausapollur. Dit is ook de enige dagtour met de watervallen Háifoss en Granni. Je gids neemt je mee op een wandeling van ongeveer 2 uur over de paden. Deze wandeling is optioneel, omdat je ook je eigen ding kunt doen als je dat liever hebt en later weer met de groep afspreekt. Ga met ons mee op onze hooglandbus en bezoek het prachtige Landmannalaugar.

Bij deze waterval komen twee rivieren samen, omringd door basalt-rotsformaties. Het zwembad dat aan de voet van de watervallen is gevormd, staat bekend om de turquoise houw van het water
De op drie na hoogste waterval van IJsland is 122 meter hoog en ligt in een prachtig landschap. De nabijgelegen Granni-waterval is bijna net zo indrukwekkend. Dit is de enige dagtour die Háifoss bezoekt.
Het vulkanische kratermeer werd 1200 jaar geleden gevormd door een enorme uitbarsting van twee nabijgelegen vulkanen
De parel van het IJslandse Hoogland is een paradijs voor wandelaars met een uniek landschap. Je maakt een gemakkelijke begeleide wandeling tussen de lavavelden en ryolietheuvels met stomende geothermische poelen die het landschap bedekken. Voordat we vertrekken, krijgt u de kans om uw vermoeide botten te laten rusten in de stomende natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen

This is the best day trip among other 4 day trips I had in iceland. It is a small group tour operate by big bus tour using jeep entering the highlands through f roads n river crossing. Laudmannalaugar is hiker paradise with different hiking trails from easy, moderate and hard. Our group split into 2 teams when some experienced hikers go for hard/moderate trail by themselves, while most of us choosing easy trail and our guide will bring us go and take good care of us well. The hike is not hard, most are flat terrain with few steep up and down. But highly recommend to wear hiking shoes with mega grip. Normal person without any issue eg asthma, leg pain, critical illness etc will have no issue with the hike. it's about 4km and we spent about 2 hours to slowly walk and take photos as the scenery is too beautiful, it is like in another planet. Our guide Kalma is funny and take good care and explain to us. He is a very very experienced hiker and fast driver too. After the hike can soak in the hot spring but we didnt try it. After the hike, everyone become friends as we enjoy the hike together. Kalma drive us continue to other stops to see canyon, waterfalls, viking house without any hurry. He go extra miles to let us see as much as possible but without the rush. This tour is a very long day tour but absolutely worth it, we reach back hotel 9pm+. This trip end my iceland holiday perfectly. Definitely recommend everyone to join and see the beautiful mountains and waterfalls.
A great way to end my Iceland visit, worth it as an add on to Ring Road and a great guide. Just stunning- even when I thought Iceland had already impressed me enough!

This trip is great! Randman Naruka Highlands only in the summer, the view is very beautiful! We are also very lucky the weather is great, the temperature is good and there is no rain. Peter, Highly recommend! Explain information about where you are going along the way. Provides advice in order to fine-tune our itinerary according to professional experience to ensure we are at the best time to the best spot. After arriving in the highlands, the choice of the walking route explains the difference between the two routes, let us choose the one that we want to go, accompany us all the way, and we can not rush the road, let us enjoy the journey. Although the way to the highlands is far, you can enjoy the scenery or relax in the car with Bus Travel Iceland. Thank you again for the kindness Peter gave us a wonderful memory of today, my father who does not speak English have the courage to talk to Peter to express his joy.

I had a wonderful day with Vjeran and Mike! The tour was well organized, and I really appreciated that they offered different hiking options for different fitness levels. They were friendly, humorous, and shared interesting information throughout the trip. They also kindly helped us take photos and even stopped at a few extra viewpoints along the way. Excellent day with a fantastic guide, Vjeran, accompanied by the wonderful Michael. A superb hike in a breathtaking landscape. Extraordinary waterfalls and lunar lava fields. I recommend it without reservation.
