Ervaar het lopen van een LLAMA tijdens een zonsondergang trekking op 3500 ft boven de zeespiegel langs de hellingen van Haleakala. Het landschap is absoluut adembenemend, de lucht is fris en koel, en vanaf dit uitkijkpunt kunt u kust tot kust, het West Maui-gebergte over de vallei en de omliggende eilanden zien. De wandeling is relatief vlak en doorkruist glooiende heuvels via een grindweg die een graspad wordt. Elke gast wandelt zijn eigen lama terwijl hij geniet van een buiten de gebaande paden gelegen ervaring die u zal achterlaten met een diepe waardering en respect voor Maui en deze prachtige dieren. This was hands down the BEST part of our week long trip in Maui. The Llamas are so sweet, and Christine was so nice and very knowledgeable! Your inner little kid will be giggling the whole time. It’s truly a one of kind experience!
We felt a bit silly choosing this experience as we knew llamas were not indigenous to HI, but wanted to do something different & we enjoy animals. We knew it would help us see different countryside than the usual. Christine was very friendly, shared tons of information, & adjusted to our comfort level. The walk was scenic, the llamas were so fun & photogenic, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. This was a highlight of our trip! I would totally recommend it.
This was our favorite activity on our trip, it way exceeded expectations. Not only were the llamas delightful, but the scenery was drop dead gorgeous. Our guide Christine couldn’t have been nicer and it’s clear the llamas and alpacas are very well cared for. Amazing experience for anyone who loves animals.
Can't recommend enough! This was such a gorgeous hike with the most adorable hiking partners. This is a perfect break from the beach and gave us such an appreciation for upcountry Maui. If you're on the fence, book it!!
We had an amazing time on the llama sunset hike!! The “hike” portion was easy, and the llamas were adorable and well-trained! Christine was very friendly and communicative, and obviously great with the llamas. We got so many amazing memories (and not to mention Instagram photos!!) out of the experience!! If you love animals and are looking for a great, 1-2hr experience in Maui, this is it!
What an AMAZING experience! Christine was a great host, her communication was spot on and the hike was fantastic. The views were absolutely breathtaking! Now for the llamas we had the privilege of hiking with Killian, Sion and Azrael. They each had their own unique personalities that made it so easy to fall in love! Our expectations were exceeded ten fold and the property was fantastic! Next time we visit Maui we will definitely come back to do the Llama sunset hike!
Delightful walk with a wonderful guide, really cool llamas, and stunning views. Christine is an excellent guide: calm, knowledgeable, and a walking encyclopedia about llamas Llamas are really interesting animals: shy and clean and smart And the views from the trails we walk are world class
We had a great experience with Christine and the Llamas Azriel, Kilion, and Sion. We learned about the Llamas before the hike. They make cute noises and easy to walk. The Llamas were gentle and we loved petting them. The hike was beautiful.
