Welkom in Lalibela, waar de geschiedenis in steen is gegrift en de skyline wordt bepaald door het majestueuze Lasta-gebergte. Dit is niet zomaar een stad; het is een levend meesterwerk van wereldklasse architectuur en tijdloze traditie. Lalibela staat bekend om zijn adembenemende uit rotsen gehouwen kerken en mysterieuze ondergrondse monolieten – waaronder het massieve Bet – Medhane Alem en het iconische, kruisvormige Bet Giyorgis – en is de parel van het historische circuit van Ethiopië. Aankomst & Welkom : Uw reis begint op de luchthaven van Lalibela, waar het team van Adefa Tours u zal begroeten en naar uw hotel zal brengen. Avondcultuur : Als de zon ondergaat boven de hooglanden, nodigen wij u uit om de lokale ziel van de stad te ervaren. Na het diner gaat u naar een traditioneel Tej House (honingwijnbar) om te genieten van levendige Ethiopische muziek en dans – de perfecte afsluiting van een onvergetelijke dag. Lalibela is a wonderful city with a lot of history. I also wanted to walk and discover the nature of the region. Sisay knew how to propose me a program completely adapted to my desires. We walked in the mountains around Lalibela to discover the small villages and the magnificent landscapes. We slept in a farmer's family who was very welcoming and friendly and made me discover the local culture and Ethiopian traditions. It was an experience that I will never forget! Sisay is a guide who promotes sustainable tourism by staying with local people in order to benefit the communities and to discover the real Ethiopian traditions by meeting the locals. I am a woman and I went alone for 4 days with him. He is very professional and reassuring! Moreover he speaks very good English but also French. Ideal for people like me who are not fluent in English. I recommend this guide 100%.
