Bezoek de Tempel van Poseidon bij Kaap Sounion met een comfortabele auto of minibus met airconditioning. Leer bovendien over de geschiedenis van de tempel van uw privéchauffeur. Geniet vervolgens van voldoende tijd om de witmarmeren tempel te verkennen en het uitzicht op de klif over de Egeïsche Zee te absorberen.

We halen op bij alle hotels/accommodaties in Athene. Vervoer van/naar de luchthaven of luchthaven is tegen een toeslag. Breng uw eigen handdoeken bij het meer, zoals ze opladen. Als u een massage aan het meer wilt boeken, neem dan contact op met het meer en boek voor aankomst. Massageservice is niet beschikbaar in het laagseizoen. Neem na het zwemmen een tweede wisselkleding mee om in de auto te stappen. De temperatuur van het meer varieert afhankelijk van het seizoen, variërend van 22 graden tot 29 graden Celsius. Zwemmen moet worden uitgevoerd op een lege maag, of na de spijsvertering, na drie uur vanaf de laatste maaltijd. Het ontbijt moet licht zijn op tourdatum. Gelieve te adviseren weersvoorspelling voor het boeken in de winter. Vervoer van/naar de luchthaven of luchthaven is tegen een toeslag. Gasten op een cruise moeten ons de naam van het cruiseschip sturen zodat onze chauffeur buiten hun cruiseschip kan zijn voor de pick-up.

We took the private tour to Lake Vouliagmeni and the Temple of Poseidon, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Marios, was incredibly nice, charming, and highly knowledgeable. He shared so much interesting information and made the whole drive delightful. The entire trip had a relaxed, light, and wonderful atmosphere. Marios also recommended a few great local restaurants for lunch, and the one we chose was excellent and delicious. We had an amazing time and highly recommend this tour with the lovely Marios!
It was a very nice tour. Harry was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. In addition to the Lake and the temple of Poseidon, he knew of some great places to get traditional cuisine and gelato.

Omg! Amazing!!! But the most amazing thing of all was not the 2,500 yr old structure of Poseidon’s Temple, it was Theo!! From the very beginning we were stressed from a horrible trip over here that took longer than 24hrs. We had no luggage, no euros, no nothing. Theo saved the day in every area of our need. I can’t say enough about this guy. I want to tip him but I don’t know how to other than pay pal and I can’t get a pay pal account becouse we lost our card. I have everything but PayPal. Please help me tip him. He deserves every dime!

Book this tour! Despite my error they accommodated us and we had a great time with professional drivers, George and Dimitris. They provided a door to door, private, personalized, engaging tour in a safe, comfortable vehicle--bonus treat! Can't get this on a big company tour. We definitely will be recommending Crispy Local:)

Our Lake Vouliagmeni Thermal Spa and Temple of Poseidon Private Full-Day Tour was one of the highlights of our time in Greece, and so much of that was thanks to our incredible driver, Dimitris. From the moment he picked us up, Dimitris made us feel like welcomed guests rather than tourists. He was warm, personable, and an exceptional driver who shared stories and local insights throughout the day. His genuine pride in Greece made every stop even more meaningful. The Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion was absolutely breathtaking. Perched dramatically on a cliff nearly 200 feet above the Aegean Sea, the temple was built around 444–440 BC during the Golden Age of Athens. Dedicated to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, it served as both a place of worship and a landmark for sailors returning home. Standing among the remaining Doric columns while gazing out over the endless blue waters, it was easy to understand why this location has inspired visitors for more than 2,400 years. The combination of archaeology, mythology, and stunning coastal scenery makes it an unforgettable experience. Our stop at Lake Vouliagmeni was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. The natural mineral waters were wonderfully relaxing, but the biggest surprise was the tiny Garra rufa fish that gently nibbled and tickled our feet as we soaked in the lake. It was a strange sensation at first, but quickly became part of the fun and made for plenty of laughter. Surrounded by limestone cliffs and lush greenery, the lake feels like a hidden oasis just outside Athens. To top off an already incredible day, Dimitris recommended lunch at 4 Brothers, a beautiful waterfront restaurant serving incredibly fresh seafood. It turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Greece. The setting was stunning, the staff were wonderfully friendly, and every dish reflected the freshness and simplicity of authentic Greek coastal cuisine. If you’re looking for a tour that combines ancient history, breathtaking scenery, relaxation, and authentic local experiences, this is the one to book. And if you’re fortunate enough to have Dimitris as your driver, you’re in for an unforgettable day. His kindness, professionalism, and local knowledge elevated an already fantastic itinerary into a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!
