Emerald Bay de tweede meest gefotografeerde plaats in de Verenigde Staten. Dit is een mooie halte. In de winter kan het vanwege lawines gesloten zijn. Maar het grootste deel van het jaar brengt Around Tahoe Tours je op de perfecte plekken in Emerald Bay. Maak foto's, luister naar de verhalen en bekijk de baai. Geen parkeren en wandelen, gewoon genieten van Emerald Bay. We zullen Inspiration Point, Eagle Falls, Fannett Island en de Vikingsholm zien.
De met een Oscar bekroonde film "The Godfather Part II" werd gefilmd op de westkust van Lake Tahoe. De maffia bracht behoorlijk wat tijd door in Lake Tahoe. De casino's in Reno en aan de North Shore brachten de maffia naar de oevers van Lake Tahoe. Overal waar geld is, zouden ze daar zijn. Bovendien is het meer erg diep. Vraag het Fredo
Dit is een seizoensstop. Open van 15 mei tot en met 15 oktober. Dit is een prachtig klein wit zandstrand. Geweldige zwemplek aan Lake Tahoe en een prachtig klein resort met hutten en huizen te huur, maar ook camper- en tentkamperen. Er is hier een winkel en goede badkamers.
We parkeren bij het Tahoe City Visitor Center en lopen naar Fanny Bridge. Onder de Tahoe City Dam zien we een aantal ongelooflijk grote en mooie Rainbow en Brown Forel. Hier komt de Truckee rivier uit Lake Tahoe. De Dam is slechts 1,80 meter hoog en is er niet om water in te houden, maar om het eruit te helpen.
Dit is een prachtige stop bij het beroemde Gar Wood's Restaurant and Bar. Neem een nat bos en loop over de pier. Geweldige foto's laten zien hoe helder het water werkelijk is. In de zomer konden we zien dat Woody op het meer was. Gar Woods, Chris-Crafts, Rivas en Hackers. Mooie oude houten boten.
Rondom Tahoe maakt Tours een stop op de mooiste plek van Lake Tahoe. Sand Harbor staatspark Nevada. De thuisbasis van enorme grote rotsblokken omgeven door alle kleuren blauw. Lijkt tropisch op bepaalde tijden. Geweldige plek om veel geschiedenis te zwemmen, en waarschijnlijk onze beste stop. Ga naar buiten, strek uw benen en maak veel foto's. U wilt niet meer weg.
Rond Tahoe stopt u bij Logan Shoals Vista Trail, omdat dit de beste plek is om Cave Rock te zien. Cave Rock is de beroemdste heilige plaats van Lake Tahoe. De thuisbasis van de geesten van de Paiute- en Washoe-indianen. Cave Rock is helemaal geen rots, het is een vulkanische stam die overblijft van lang geleden.

WOW, Mark was great. My advice is to take this tour the first day and not wait. He actually made me change my mind about coming back to Tahoe again. The first 3 days were frustrating with closed beaches and other issue. Mark took us to beaches we went to the next day and had a great time. Let us know about an ice cream store. Mark was great. He played the pre-recorded audio but would pause to fill in more insight he had about that part of Tahoe. I learned so much more about Tahoe. He was excellent drive and more importantly where to park. We have fabulous pictures now. He took pains to take pictures for each couple and he framed many of our perfectly. I never felt rushed at the various stops. I had a real chance to enjoy the beauty of Tahoe and understood more of the history. DEFINITLY TAKE THIS TOUR and if possible ask for Mark. I'm sure the other drivers are also excellent but I can only speak about Mark.

Amazing tour with breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe! Our guide, Mark, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well organized and suitable for all ages. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The tour was very good! Van who drove our van was very knowledgeable about the area because he grew up here. As seniors the pace was good. Van (also a younger senior 😀) was very helpful by answering our questions. As first time travelers to Lake Tahoe the tour introduced us to a wide variety of information about the lake. All 4 of us old timers recommend this tour.
Good afternoon from Lake Tahoe It was very nice to get your review for Van. He is one of the best tour guides we have now. We got lucky and he just dropped in our lap about 3 months ago. But he also went to school with me at Incline High School. And yes he knows the area very well. He spent some time in the army and has some very good logistical and organizational skills as well and is very personable. In fact, every year is a Santa Claus. For the local community🧑🎄

Having grown up on Lake Tahoe, Van showed us many special spots and vantage points that only a native would know about. My husband was particularly excited to see the boathouse from Godfather II and the Ponderosa from Bonanza. Another highlight was seeing Cal Neva and the dude trip to Sierra Boat Company to see a one-of-a-kind Jaguar boat! We highly recommend this intimate, personalized tour of the lake.

Our tour guide and driver was very courteous and kept us up to date on his arrival time as this did change. He was very informative and gave us lots of history and legends in the area. It was a pleasurable tour.
