Geniet van deze tour door Lake Nakuru National Park, de thuisbasis van een van de meest opmerkelijke wilde vogelpopulaties in heel Afrika. Kom dicht bij dieren in het wild tijdens een safaritocht en kijk uit naar de verbazingwekkende flamingo van het park, ook het park is beroemd om de grote witte zuidelijke neushoorn en ook de zwarte neushoorn die erg achterlijk te zien is.

Nadat je je gids om 06:00 uur in de lobby van je hotel hebt ontmoet, begin je aan je reis naar Nakuru. Onderweg stop je bij het uitkijkpunt Great Riff Valley, waar je een prachtig uitzicht hebt op de hellingen.
Kom om 9.00 uur aan bij Lake Nakuru en voltooi de rit van 3 uur. Bij aankomst begint u de gamedrive van 3 uur met uw gids en onderdeel. Pauzeer voor de lunch in een lokaal restaurant, Lake Nakuru Lodge. Als alternatief kunt u een vooraf afgesproken picknicklunch in het park nuttigen. Lunch en geniet daarna van extra gamedrives op weg naar buiten.

We had an amazing time on our day trip to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. It was just unfortunate that the Flamingos migrate during this time and so we only saw a few. Lunch at the lodge inside the park I think was way overpriced but the views were great. But the highlight of the trip was at Lake Naivasha were you pay extra and they take you on a canoe ride to a walking safari. You can walk with Rothschild giraffes, and get close to other animals like Zebra, wildebeest, etc. No predators though. Our guide Chris was wonderful and will definitely recommend him. And thank you Damaris (from Zazu Safari Ventures) for booking this trip last minute. A wonderful prelude to our 8 day Kenya-Tanzania safari.

Our tour guide and driver was excellent. He is well experienced and could provide background information about everything we asked him about. The tour as such was amazing as we could easily find almost all animals which roam in the Lake Nakuru area, even the rare rhinos. We had lunch at a local place which offered nice food for affordable prices and continued to Lake Naivasha where we did a guided boat tour. We returned the same day punctually to Nairobi and were dropped at our accommodation. I can advice everyone to do this tour who hasn't time for an overnight safari to one of the major parks Especially the scenery around the two lakes is stunning.
