Ontdek het magische wonderland van het Myvatn-meer en de Godafoss-waterval met een ervaren lokale gids. We vertrekken vanuit de haven van Akureryi en stoppen bij de prachtige Godafoss-waterval en vervolgens naar het beroemde gebied rond het Myvatn-meer. in het Myvatn-meer bezoeken we de Dimmuborgir Lava-formaties en het Námafjall-gebied waar je de borrelende Hverir-modderpoelen en natuurlijke stoomopeningen of fumarolen kunt bekijken. We stoppen ook bij Myvatn Nature Baths, waar u kunt genieten van de baden en het café (let op: de toegangsprijs voor de Nature Baths is NIET inbegrepen). Passagiers kunnen er ook voor kiezen om het natuurbad over te slaan en in plaats daarvan de Grjotagja-grot en -kloof te bezoeken. Deze voordelige tour omvat een kleine groepsreis met een ervaren lokale gids en vervoer. Wij bieden gratis ophalen en terugbrengen naar de haven van Akureyri.

We bezoeken de prachtige Godafoss-waterval, de 'Waterval van de Goden' op weg van Akureyri naar het Myvatn-meer
We bezoeken de belangrijkste plaatsen in het Myvatn-meer, waaronder Námaskarð, waar u de borrelende modderpoelen van Hverir en natuurlijke stoomopeningen (fumarolen), de Dimmuborgir-lavavormen en de natuurbaden van Myvatn kunt zien (houd er rekening mee dat de toegang tot de natuurbaden niet is inbegrepen) . Voor degenen die de natuurbaden niet willen gebruiken, kunnen we je meenemen naar Grotcaja grot en kloof terwijl anderen de natuurbaden gebruiken.
We stoppen bij de natuurbaden om te genieten van de baden en het café. (Let op: de toegangsprijs voor de natuurbaden is NIET inbegrepen en MOET vooraf worden gereserveerd. We raden aan om de tickets 3 uur na aanvang van de tour te boeken
We stoppen bij het Námaskarð gebied waar je de borrelende Hverir modderpoelen en -potten en de natuurlijke stoomopeningen (fumarolen) kunt bekijken
We bezoeken de prachtige lava-formaties in een gebied dat ook wel het 'Dark Castle' wordt genoemd
We bezoeken deze oude badgrot en een deel van de kloof tussen de Euraziatische en Amerikaanse continenten

Fabulous tour!… our guide was SO good, telling us lots of stories and information about Iceland. He went out of his way to give us the best tour. The waterfall was simply stunning. We also went to the Nature Lagoon which was a truly spectacular experience. Warm, blue and gorgeous, a must do experience.
Godafoss was quite stunning but accounted for only a small part of the trip. The majority of the trip was either around Lake Myvatn and hordes of swarming midges or inside a nice van with fewer midges. Even our guide was shocked by the overwhelming number of these friendly flies. The midges don't bite but do other obnoxious stuff like fly up your nose, into your ears and into your mouth. Myvatn was just OK for me with lava structures being referred to as trolls. And there is a historic story about the 12 trolls of Christmas but I was so distracted by the flies I never really took it all in. The ride was long and accompanied by rather unremarkable scenery.
We got to see many things on this tour which were all very neat! Highly recommend swimming at the lagoon! Mr. G was fabulous, very kind and very informative! This tour was great to be able to see many things in a day!
Our Tour guide was very nice and fun and places we visited was very beautiful got to see the waterfalls ,lava land ,pass on the mountain tunnel and amazing landscape along the road
Wonderful day seeing the main sights. We never got to the caves as some travellers were always late getting back by the meeting times so by the end of the tour we had no time left for this part. wish we had longer at the earth lagoon.. it was the highlight of the day. Such a wonderful day.
This was a really well run tour and Johannas was an amazing tour guide. He was so informative and super funny and we enjoyed learning about this area from him and seeing all the different places!
The Godafoss waterfall was spectacular, apart from the hordes of flies which were somewhat annoying! Lake Myvatn area is huge and involved multiple stops. The lava formations, hot mud pools, Gjotagia caves all spectacular! The minibus was clean and comfortable and whilst our driver gave a reasonable commentary during the drive, was not very clear about the details at each stop and did not join us during each visit so it felt like the opportunity to understand more about each venue was a bit lost. Hence a 4 rather than 5 star review.
It was a lot of driving but that was known going in. We had a small group so we had freedom concerning how long we made each stop. Definitely saw more on this tour than was possible from the cruise ship.
It was fantastic and a great driver with a great be adventure of back roads - so fun…..it’s a beautiful country
