Dit schilderachtige openbare meer van 22 mijl, bekend om zijn heldere water van constant niveau, beschikt over privéwaterkant en huizen aan de kliffen, verschillende restaurants aan de kust, is de thuisbasis van wereldkampioen wake-surfers Ashley Kidd en Raleigh Hager en op slechts 20 minuten rijden van het centrum van Austin.
Deze stalen boogbrug, gebouwd in 1982, is een iconisch oriëntatiepunt in Austin. Dit natuurreservaat van 35 hectare aan de waterkant van Lake Austin is een toevluchtsoord voor zeldzame, bedreigde of bedreigde soorten en is open voor het publiek door middel van rondleidingen.
Deze privé-golfclub ligt aan de oevers van het meer van Austin. Het beschikt over een uitdagende 18-holes golfbaan en organiseert toernooien, waaronder de populaire WGC Dell Match Play. Het is ontworpen door architect Pete Dye en is de thuisbasis van de gouden legende Harvey Penick.
Deze dam, vernoemd naar een voormalige burgemeester van Austin, is in 1940 in gebruik genomen. Deze dam is gebouwd met het oog op overstromingsbeheer en waterkrachtopwekking. This was a fun two hour experience with Spencer. He is very knowledgeable about the area and made the entire experience memorable. We will definitely book again if we end up back in Austin.

Wonderful experience with Spencer. The boat was clean, spacious and comfortable. He shared lots of interesting and funny information about the area, the lake and the beautiful homes. The sunset was stunning, a lovely way to spend an evening. I highly recommend this tour.
