We hebben plezier en opwinding gebracht en gemengd met de schoonheid en culturele ervaringen die het meer te bieden heeft. We vertrekken vanuit ons kantoor in Panajachel en gaan naar het kleurrijke dorp Santa Catarina Palopo. In dit dorp kunnen we lokale weefsels, dekens, nahuales en andere goederen zien en leren kennen die door de lokale bevolking worden gemaakt en verkocht. Op het plein van dit dorp bezoeken we een lokaal koffiehuis waar je je eigen koffie kunt malen en de lokaal geteelde bonen kunt proeven. Eenmaal klaar in Santa Catarina springen we terug op onze ATV's naar het dorp San Antonio Palopo. We bezoeken een plaatselijke keramiekfabriek waar we leren over het proces om al deze ongelooflijke goederen te maken. We bezoeken ook een lokale chocoladefabriek in San Antonio, waar we meer te weten komen over het proces...

Tijdens deze stop zijn we in staat om lokale weefsels, kleding, dekens en veel van de lokale goederen gemaakt in dit dorp te leren en te zien. We bezoeken ook het plaatselijke culturele centrum waar we wat lokale koffie en chocolade kunnen proeven, en ten slotte gaan we naar het dok waar we wat boodschappen kunnen doen of een hapje en drankje kunnen nemen in het restaurant aan het water.
we gaan naar Playa Blanca en Barrio Jucanya voor wat foto's en bekijken de rand van het meer met de lokale bevolking voordat we teruggaan naar het kantoor van Simoon Pana.

Absolutely incredible- lots of fun and a great way to see all the villages. Our guide Andres was so wonderful and clearly loved his job so made it such an enjoyable experience.
The tour was exceptional, got to see the beautiful village and great view points for pictures. The tour guide was beyond amazing.
Andrés our guide was very kind and attentive. It is an experience that you must live at least once since it gives you the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their customs and traditions.

It was a pretty cool tour. It is beginner friendly. The ATV’s are super easy to drive. The guide John Carlos was super friendly and good to chat to. It’s a great way to see the surrounds and take in the beautiful views of the lake. Debora was super friendly and easy to deal with while booking the tour. I’ll be doing another tour with these guys. Absolutely brilliant. Book it. Good fun experience. We were family of four with two adults driving and two older teenagers as passengers (as they don’t yet have licenses). Yeshua was our guide. Really lovely and informative. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I had the best day on ATV yesterday. First I would like to say Simoon Travel is the only company that will still take you out even if no one else signs up. So I ended up getting a private tour. And it was prob one of my favorite days in Guatemala so far. I have used this company 3 seperate times, and all tour guides are excellent...BUT IF YOU GO TO PANA YOU MUST REQUEST YESHUA!!! His energy and vibe is so welcoming. Everywhere we went, people knew him, especially the kids. The way the kids chased after us, he is literally the town role model for kids. I think that is what made me enjoy my day so much because of Yeshua genuine reactions to the kids. He explained everything so well!! And his English is perfect which is super helpful for people who are still learning. I have done the ATV twice in Antigua with Simoon and once in Pana, and I have to say Pana hands down stole the cake. Excellent day. Would highly suggest this company and this tour guide to anyone and everyone. Thank you! I will be back
If you are seeing this message and are thinking about doing the ATV tour with Simoon, do it without hesitation! I enjoyed the experience with them very much from beginning to end: from the start when they helped me choose the best tour for me, to the whole village tour we did on ATVs.
