Dolfijnen spotten met Seafaris is een must-do activiteit voor iedereen die de Algarve bezoekt. Seafaris was het eerste bedrijf in de Algarve dat op zoek ging naar dolfijnen in hun natuurlijke habitat en ons gespecialiseerde team heeft meer dan 25 jaar ervaring met het verzorgen van onvergetelijke dagtochten langs de prachtige kustlijn van Zuid-Portugal. Voel de sensatie van de wind in je gezicht terwijl we over de glinsterende Atlantische Oceaan glijden op zoek naar prachtige tuimelaars en gewone dolfijnen of zelfs andere verschillende soorten wilde dieren, voordat we ons rustig tussen de groepen nestelen om ze te zien dansen en spelen in hun natuurlijke habitat. Onze volledig gecertificeerde schippers hebben een uitstekende kennis van de dolfijnenactiviteit in het gebied, met waarnemingen in meer dan 95% van de tochten. Tours duren ongeveer 90 minuten en worden elke dag vanuit Lagos uitgevoerd. We raden gasten aan om minstens 15 minuten voor hun vertrektijd aan te komen en zonnebrandcrème, water en natuurlijk hun camera mee te nemen!

Went with our 4 and 6 year old, the crew were very friendly and ensured the little one’s safety; seating them appropriately and preparing them for the amazing speed the boat goes! The crew were very professional and found a large number of beautiful dolphins for us to see. Highly recommend this tour!
The tour was super. We booked the early slot and were indeed lucky enough to see dolphins. Both guides were very nice. We can warmly recommend the tour.
It was a wonderful experience. We were there as a family. They made a great effort so that we could see the dolphins! Yes, it was a bit loud in the back of the boat, but the guide came back to us again and explained everything again for us! We would book it again! Highly recommended, even for small children.

We loved the experience with the Seafaris! The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We were lucky to see dolphins in their natural habitat, which made the experience even more special and unforgettable for adults and children! We highly recommend visiting the Algarve. We didn’t sow any dolphins but it didn’t matter much, fantastic boat trip in pretty high waves made the trip a real roller coaster ride which everyone in the family thought was super fun. Thanks to a skilled captain, it never felt scary.
We had so much fun on our tour! We chose to book ours in the morning for a better chance of seeing dolphins, and there were plenty of them! Even got to see two mamas feeding their babies. Our tour guides were awesome, and were very knowledgeable!

Very beautiful experience. We had already gone to see the dolphins with this company in 2012 and in 2013, so it was only natural to return to them this year (2026) given the quality of the service and the explanations provided by the guides (not in French, though). They show a lot of respect for the dolphins and do not force contact. Each time we arrived before the boats from other companies, which made the experience more intimate. It is the dolphins who decide to come. We came in May (2012), July (2013), and June (2026), and if you want to see babies, I really recommend May/June. It was a first for my sister-in-law and our 4-year-old son, and they had stars in their eyes and in their hearts. In short, if we return to Portugal, it is obviously with Seafaris that we will go to see the dolphins again.
